I got there late tonight but Deming really looked strong. They really are stepping up the defense and its gonna be hard for some teams to beat! Im looking forward to watch the devils play this year! If the devils move the ball like they did and play like a team i look for them to beat alot of teams this year! They got a BIG one tuesday against St.Pat! Bourbon County had a 18-9 lead in the 1st quarter but the young Devil squad settled down and really their defense got their offense going, Luke King had gotton his 2nd foul in the 2nd period and took a seat until the third quarter but brother Kyle steped up along with Caleb Curtis, Rex Schalch, and Grause.

Their next game will be a little tougher against St. Patrick in Maysville on Tuesday. The Saints have two of the regions players in Chris Owens and Nick Anderson. Well have to wait and see how the Devils will do after this game.

I got there in the middle of the JV game but the Varsity game was a treat to watch. I said that Caleb Curtis would step up and I would take 9 points from him anyday. I thought the defensive pressure was pretty intense. Another player I would like to see more of is Nathan Mitchell, even though he had a tough last year I know what he is capable of doing on the ball court. Congrats to the Devils and goodluck Tuesday!!!

He handled the ball some pretty well last night, little wild on his shot selection yet but I'd say he'll come around.

Another game or 2 and Mitchell could get back to doing what he did his freshman year. I like to see him keep improving as well.

What he lacks is an outside shot. Like I said before he is just too small to drive into the paint against players like Bourbon had(#40 and 50 in particular)

Yeah I saw him do that twice in the game last night, he should try from outside no way he could've got a shot in the paint against them 2 big guys. #50 also played in the Jv game.
