  1. When will it end? Bledsoe or Wall, which will come? Will they lose them both? I am personally tired of hearing about it day in and day out, and I'm not even a UK fan.
  2. No, not in that exact order that was just my list of schools. The 4 you named should be added to mine. That would be a pretty solid list of schools :thumb:
  3. Wow, that's a lot to go see the Yanks struggle it up for 9 innings with an all star starting lineup.
  4. Man that's a tough loss for us, and we don't need those right now.
  5. So happy to see Houston win this game, so happy..
  6. LeBron shot over 48% from the field this season, Kobe shot 46%. LeBron shot 34% from 3 point range, Kobe 35%. I'm not saying you are comparing him to Kobe, but I am, someone who a lot of people "believe" is better than Bron. LeBron gets knocked a lot of his shooting, the numbers don't lie. He has improved his outside shooting tremendously and it has shown. Sure, just because all you catch of him in the highlights is him almost tearing down the rim and shattering the backboard, doesn't mean that's all the kid does. Please don't say Kobe is..............please.
  7. Nady is hurt, so why would someone go after him, and Swisher can be a stud. He would really help this team out A LOT. Who could we give up though? You know how the Yanks are..
  8. Notre Dame Ohio State USC Alabama Michigan(as bad as I hate to say it) Texas
  9. I hope tonight isn't a long one for the Reds..
  10. I would try and go hard after those guys but I highly doubt the Reds could sign them, The realistic pick for me, I would go hard after Xavier Nady if he were healthy. He could be a huge addition in the outfield. Baldeli could also help this team out a lot. I wouldn't mind seeing those guys in Reds uniforms. Of all the free agents here, this(and I know it's early but come on) would be my ideal opening day lineup for next season. 1. Akinori Iwamura 2. Willy Taveras 3. Joey Votto 4. Jay Bruce 5. Melvin Mora 6. Rick Ankiel 7. Roco Baldeli 8. Ramon Hernandez 9. pitcher(Edinson) Man, that would make me one happy Reds fan :ylsuper:
  11. I understand that, but do you people really expect Hansbrough not to play hard and give it his all, work hard over the next summer, get stronger, even more physical than ever, do you really think he will put up 5 points and 4 rebounds a game? I mean look what the guy did in college? The last two superstar All American studs to come out of college are having pretty successful seasons in the league. Hansbrough can be a lot like an Al Horford and David Lee in the NBA. Horford averaged 11.5 points and 9.3 rebounds a game in the regular season, and Lee put up over 16 points and 11 rebounds. I'm not saying he will be better than those two guys, because they are experienced and have had solid careers so far. But he can be just like those two guys.
  12. Yeah, I agree because they all believe he is "undersized". Hansbrough will play harder than just about anybody else in the league next season, I would kill to have a guy like that on my team. If I were picking in the 25-32 range(the playoff teams) I wouldn't think twice about getting him. He would come off the bench, get you 10-12 points every night, about 6-8 rebounds, some blocks, play good defense, play EXTREMELY hard, and give you all he's got.
  13. Glad to see the Reds get this win today. 13-11 isn't to bad at this point in the young season. I do wish it was 16-8, or 17-7, but I'll take what we got.
  14. What I would do.. Ship Edwin, Homer, another solid prospect in the minors, and Dickerson to Houston Try and get Carlos Lee and an average prospect. 4 players for 2, that would be a huge addition to this team. I also know there is no way it happens, but can't I use my imagination?
  15. They will miss Cali a lot obviously, but they will still dominate the C-USA and make good tournament runs year in and year out. Now obviously they will lose some games they shouldn't, their C-USA streak will be snapped, but Memphis fans shouldn't worry.
  16. Way more athletic? More upside? I just don't see that. Sure to some Patterson will be the more popular pick of the two, but Hansbrough has shown time and time again he has the toughness and ability to play in the NBA. I just don't understand saying he will be a bust because he is undersized, then a guy who is a whole inch smaller is a lottery pick
  17. When I think about Smith being a solid back for Kentucky, I just don't see it. To me he isn't near as explosive as Locke, or as Little was for Kentucky. He won't be a top back in the SEC that's for sure. I do realize that, and that's why they mostly had struggles. Lyons was their go to guy, they don't have a true wide out threat this year. Cobb can be a play maker, but can he be one like Keenan Burton or Steve Johnson? No. Exactly. The O line won't be solid at all, and that only results in sacks to the ceiling. Hartline showed me he was one of the worst starting qb's in the SEC a year ago. I have read a lot on his improvement, but I'm not sold on that just yet. Hartline will have to manage games far better than he did a year ago. He is the type of guy who can get you 160-180 yards a game, and maybe a touchdown or two. That's just not enough to get it done in the SEC to me. Look at what UK got done with Andre Woodson in his last 2 seasons. Hartline is far from being an Andre Woodson, I'm sorry. Sure, they offense can improve some, but not enough to win 6-8 games in the SEC. Kentucky doesn't have the firepower to win the big games in the conference, and could lose some that they should win. Hartline isn't going to be able to handle a 12 game schedule especially once the conference games begin. He isn't an SEC quarterback, I'm sorry. He just can't get the job done, he has shown it over and over again. Cobb will have to play the wide out spot because he is pretty much the only solid wide out they have. As for the injuries, yes that did play a role in some of their losses, but then again it didn't. They still could have won some games even without those guys. I know it's hard losing key guys like that, but we have seen over the years teams lose guys but can still go out and win the games they should have. If everyone does stay healthy this season, 6 wins is as high as I can go.
  18. They could go 14-0, but I see them finishing 13-1 with a loss somewhere in the SEC.
  19. QB - Hartline will be the starter in the opening game, and he could hold on to that for a while. Newton could be a huge plus for them at QB, but he is a true freshmen and if he does get thrown in there, it could be rough on him. Especially in the SEC. RB - Smith isn't going to be a huge stud, I'm sorry. They HAVE to get Locke back and on the team (I'm not sure what's going on there, but they have to get him). That could be a big weak spot for the Cats without D. Locke. O-Line - Doesn't look to be to strong this year, but I could be wrong. They have to protect whoever is in the backfield, that's for sure. WR - Aside from Cobb and Lanxter it's pretty down hill for me. Cobb is a big play maker, but Lanxter showed me nothing a year ago. Unless he has improved by 110%, then I will continue to think he isn't ready to be a big time wide out threat. I'm not so sure about that. They lost Dicky Lyons and I guess Mr. Locke. Their running, receiving, and passing games could all be weak this year. They could get 6 wins, but to me that's all they will get.
  20. NO way Patterson is a lottery pick. I'm not even bashing him or saying he won't pan out in the NBA, but come on. Another thing that gets me, people say that Tyler Hansbrough won't turn out to be anything in the NBA because he is "undersized". Patterson is listed as 6'8 on that website, Hansbrough is at 6'9. That's a complete joke. If Pat Patterson can go as a LOTTERY PICK, I surely hope Hansbrough will too. Sure you can say well Hansbrough played a lot of center in college, he won't be able to in the NBA. Patterson played a lot of center as well, and Hansbrough can play the 4 just as good as the 5.
  21. UK has to sign Bledsoe or Wall, you can't lose them both.
