I agree, although its been like this my whole life with the exception of 2005 (the best year of my life by far) when we made the playoffs. I have gotten to the point where the weekends literally determine my attitude on the week with OSU and the Bungles. I just try to stay positive and hope for the best.

Nothing will ever change in Cincinnati until Mike Brown passes away or steps down for some reason. This is one of the most poorly ran organizations in the HISTORY of professional sports. Many are blaming Marvin, but how can a man run a team when he is being undermined on every decision that he makes. The Chris Henry signing is a perfect example. There is not one bright spot on this team right now and they play uninspired selfish football because they have no leader. I have been a season ticket holder for nearly a decade now and have been an avid Bengals fan my whole life but my patience is running extremely thin after the first two showings of the year.

Latest out of Bowling Green: Bobby knight was flew into Glasgow last night by one of the big contributors to WKU. The reason he was flown into Glasgow was because of the rumors and buzz surrounding his arrival. It has been said that he just wants to stay at Western until he reaches 1000 wins as a head coach, he wants a membership at Old Stone, and a 1 million dollar salary. There are many other rumors flying around but this is what is being said around town. It really is starting to look like a possibility that The General will be wearing another red sweater before it is all said and done.

The word I'm hearing from numerous reliable sources is that Bobby Knight is a serious candidate for the job at WKU. I've also heard Sean Sutton's name thrown around as well.

I'm sure that he would take the job, but shouldn't he be concerned about what happened to Dennis Felton at UGA when he left WKU. It's very hard to win and meet expectations at bottom feeding SEC schools in this day and age.

Actually, I had heard that the heat was on Horn this year to make it to the Tourney. He has had MUCH better teams in the past and just couldn't win the big game (or beat South Alabama). He is a great coach and I think he could be gone as well.

Love the Bengals, been a life long fan. When Mike Brown is out, whenever that may be, that's when we start winning.

Very well said. There is not much D1 talent in the state, that is the bottom line. Recruiting KY boys just for the sake of recruiting them gets the program nowhere, especially in the critical transition period that they are in.
