Does anyone know who pitched for either team?

Suiter was only batting in the nine spot because he was in some what of a slump for a few games. He holds the highest batting average on the team at 427 before the district game. He was 14-17 (.824) with three doubles, three triples, 10 RBI, and 8 stolen bases in the last seven games.

Hard fought game by both teams. Good luck to the Lions in the rest of there season.

Yes Greenup is a very talented team and I think that they will have a nice run in the regionals but after watching both teams this year i have a feeling that if it came down to those two teams playing that Rowan would come out on top. Both teams should do good in the tournement and have nice runs in the post season.

Great win for GCHS. Best of luck in the up incoming days. Very nice post MVP 007, we will all keep the family and friends in our prayers. This just reminds us more than every that baseball is just a game and that there are things in life that are much more important. Something that everyone needs to be reminded of.

If Boyd does not take home the crown this year I believe it will be a few more years before they even get the chance again. This is there big year to show what they can do because after they loose there graduating class they do not appear as strong. Top 4: 1. Boyd 2. Rowan 3. East Carter 4. Greenup

A great win for Russell, this could be the boost that they needed to end there season moving up

In my respect Matt Daniels is a great player and a great all around guy. But im not totally sold on him being the player of the year!

Matt daniel got player of the year in the kabc coaches poll and Jon Vanhoose got player of the year in the ekc with 13 out of 16 coaches voting right? They had already voted for the kabc player of the year before his knee injury so that had nothing to do with it. Im just not totally sold on how if Vanhoose got Ekc Player of the year with 13 of 16 coaches in the region and didnt get kabc player of the year..? Vanhoose did have 42 against rowan and DANIELS was the only one gaurding him unless rowan was in zone!:flame: :flame:

I think this award is based on the better PLAYER on the court... Looking back Daniels did hold Vanhoose to only 42 the last time they met.

I can tell your a true prankster!

Just while I'm under scrutiny... I thought I also might give some food for thought! Just like to point out that Jon was also Honorable mention Street and Smith all american , the only one from this area. I also don't understand how Matt daniel got player of the year in the kabc coaches poll and Jon got player of the year in the ekc with 13 out of 16 coaches voting? you remember their head to head matchup? I beleive matt held jon to 42 lol Just a little a thought?

Im not understanding at all.... How soon/>?

????

To be exact Jonathon Vanhoose also was nomintated! Not to leave any one out!

Why do you want to bring stuff like this into the forum. This has nothing to do with the actual game. If you want to talk about crap like this do it else where. Ok, so someone said something rude...? What else is new? Its gonna happen... lifes hard .Get a helmet!

:sssh: :sssh: :sssh:   I enjoyed this!

This sums it up FBALL!

First off... the radio crew meant nothing bad with that supposed statement I am sure. It probably should not have been said, but hey people make mistakes. Secondly, I believe the comment on the furniture store tidbit was very immature. Handle the situation with a little more class!

Also... I heard that Scott Gill is going to get to play tonight. Big news for the red devils!

I dont think this is even questionable! Cov Cath is no doubt the best. Everything Ashland does has been done already by Cov Cath.

Haha... I don't know I hear drastic changes in Russells Student Section lineup have been made to prevent a loss! This is possibly one of the most anticipated games all year!

This game will be a big game. Its became a huge rival game not only between the players but between the student sections! Should be very exciting! Russell 65 Ashland 60

Congrats to Biggie! He deserves alot of credit. Not only is he a great player but he is an astounding person! Way to go Austin!

Good win for the Red Devils! Ross Turner and Marcus Frazier really stepped up, along with ferguson to help the devils through the stretch!:fire:
