Boyd wins the 64th District tonight with a 6-1 win over Ashland.

 

Score was relayed to me by phone so don't hold me to it but I know Boyd won the game.

Some what of an interesting fact...

 

Boyd played Ashland in the 64th championship game last year and also won that game by the score of 6-1.

Good win for the Lions...Now we need to buckle down and get prepared for the Region.

This was just a great game between 2 big rivals. Both teams played well, Bowling for Boyd was huge. It was a very close game and i look for both teams to do well in the regional tournament. Good luck to both teams!

There is another forum already open discussing the fact of Rose Hill getting 2 spots on the all tournament team, with no hits and no runs in 1 game. Rose Hill will definetly be good in the future though.

In just a few short years i believe that Rose Hill will be a school to watch out for. From the beginning of this season till the end there team has improved greatly. The same with Lewis County.
