  1. Great game. Give Eddie's boy a pat on the back. He has got his kids playing hard. Durant is one and done.
  2. Anyone in the SEC is capable of beating anyone in the SEC on a given night and losing to anyone as well. Road wins in the SEC are huge the CATS have two.
  3. Leslie County and Harlin appear to border each other. He may be able to relate to the mountain boys a little better. He has been sucessful every where he has been and would be a good fit in Harlin. Has Christian County improved somewhat during his tenure?
  4. The 2,3 and 4 teams from the same district. Williamsburg is saying thank you to the KHSAA. Its ashame one of these teams will be left out of the region.
  5. South is the second best team in the region. They have the ability to beat Clay or get beat in the first round of the District. Whitley and Corbin make the 50th one of the best districts in the state. The 2 and 3 seeds have a tough row to hoe.
  6. Nice bunch of basketball players. The khsaa was kind dropping Scott County in to your region.
  7. Coach Elam has done a good job. They are in that group of about 6 teams in the 13th that you could toss a coin to determine who is best after South and Bell. Corbin is also in that mix. Next year will be real interesting. If these two play again the results could be reversed.
  8. Bell is loaded with athletes. If not for South would be the favorite in the 13th. Slusher was a big loss. Not many kids that athletic in the 13thover a long time period.
  9. A lot of teams could win. No dominant teams like B'ville the last couple of years. Cumberland is probably the favorite.
  10. JBS is loaded. They could dominate the 14th for the next 3 years. Were did all these kids come from.
  11. The Watkins and Karr kids at South are players to be watched.
  12. If you concentrate on Jordan, Smith and Profit kill you. Pick your poison this is a three headed beast. I doubt that anybody in the 13th can beat this bunch now that Slusher is gone.
  13. Wayne looks to be the only easy game on the schedule outside of district. Southwestern, Lincoln, and Mercer were very good last year. Expect Whitley to be much better this year. This schedule will have them ready come playoff time.
  14. Independent schools have boundaries. Corbin, Somerset, and Middlesboro would love if they didn't have boundaries. They can't recruit kids from the local county schools. They are not private schools.
  15. Tom Larkey always turns out good teams and individuals. It seems like some of his kids could find a place to play.
  16. Upgrade their schedule. They are moving forward but need to get away from the cupcake schedule. Did they play both the Kentucky and Ohio school for the blind along with Jackson County last year.
  17. Dudley's record speaks for itself. Approaching 300 wins and two rings. Bell County was an also ran before he got there. They play a tough schedule every year. He is one of the all time greats in Kentucky. Like him or not his way of doing things works.
  18. Pettigrew has to be the favorite right now.
  19. Aaron Watts from McCreary County is bigger, much more atheletic, and shoots nearly 50% from the 3 point line. I've seen both and prefer Watts. Not intended as a knock on Cox. Watts does not play shortstop but is a very good football player.
  20. Seeding makes the regular season games more important. It gives them a tournament atmosphere.
  21. Josh Hamlin appears to make big plays when needed most for the Hounds.
  22. It is amazing that two teams this bad can stir up this much interest. Good to see the luv at both schools. Good luck to both. Give McRae a break he plays hard if not always smart.
