This one should be a good one.Cumberland has shaped up into one of the "Would Be" contenders in the 13th if it wasn't for This year's South Laurel team.But,Cumberland has alot coming back next year so I'd say Cumberland and Corbin could be two of your top teams in the 13th.This game will be in the 80's so I'm gonna say Cumberland:86 PowellCo:81 I think Cumberland's intense defense will come through down the stretch.

I have already posted a thread on this,but I think it was to early.Who will win this one?It should be an up and down game.

Is this district determined by draw and who they play or is it determined by record?

I'm not so sure that any of these three teams(Corbin,Bell,Cumberland) couldn't play with if not beat South.All three teams I think are capable and could give South all kinds of problems by the end of the year.Cumberland battled a minor hand injury to Brooks Hogue and sickness to Kyle Simpson and still handled Evarts-even though they aren't a great team-by 20.Cumberland was also coming off an emotional victory over Harlan.So with that I think all three teams can play with South including Cumberland-they play GREAT defense and defense wins championships.

Cumberland(4-0) looked impressive against Harlan.I know Harlan isn't the best team around,but its a rivalry,the student section for Harlan was hostile for 1st half & Cumberland did a good job of slowing down John Smith.He went 5-17 from the floor & made NO 3-pointers.Most of his points came off free-throws that some could have been questioned for him to be on the line.Cumberland led by 31 with 3 to go & cruised the rest of the way not trying to score & Junior Center Desmond Johnson was fouled out.But Cumberland is where they should be until they beat someone of the likes of Bell or Corbin.

Thats exactly what I thought,I did have Pineville up there,but If Red Bird beat them I have to bump them down.

They probably did play their JV.Their JV played rite with Cawood Varsity for 3 1/2 quarters..

LCC does have a nice team.The Banks kid is a player.I also liked how they turned out the lights for the starting lineups.
