Kind of thought JBS might win by 20+.Good matchup between JBS/Hazard.

HDE,was there any games in Harlan County tonight?I know Cumberland/Middlesboro was postponed till tomorrow.

Watched the game on WYMTNEWS.com.Looked like an ugly game.Loads of turnovers,but congrats to Hazard.

Cumberland does play @ North Laurel on February20.

Who won the first game of the night out at the WYMT?I don't remember who was in it though.

No way Cumberland is 7.I'd say 3 or 4.They're better than Clay,North,& Jackson.I think Cumberland,Bell, and Corbin are about the same.Bell has the upperhand at this point by beating both of them,but Cumberland was beating them for most of the game and Corbin was right whit them too so I'd say they are about the same.

I've heard that Patterson's top choices are Kentucky and Florida at this point with Virginia following.Hope the CATS can land him.

Both teams coming off rivalry games Middlesboro lost by 16 to arch rival Bell County and Cumberland beat county rival Cawood in a barnburner by 2 on 2 final second free throws.I'll take Cumberland +14 in the first of 2 district clashes this year.

Just throwing it in the mix.

Cumberland and Corbin should be in for Powell and Belfry in my mind. Cumberland beat Powell County in Stanton then Powell bounced back on Cumberland after Cumberland had 9 days off and practiced only twice as where Powell had played 4 games.Cumberland stayed with Shelby Valley in a scrimmage a few days before regular season play opened and Corbin did also.Both of them stayed with Bell County and Cumberland was up by 11 in the 3rd quarter and Cumberland has 1 if not 2 more shots at Bell County.Cumberland and Corbin are top 5 in the mountains caliber teams with both being in the same situation next year.

Another thing is that the other people may not realize it,but if your subs are in the chances are when the game is out of reach the other team's subs will also be in.So by playing hard and playing to their ability they are helping themselves and the other team's subs also.

Make the kids the best they can be.

Rivalry game,tournament type atmosphere,very emotional game,Cawood brought their A game,but Cumberland fought and battled and won the game on 2free-throws by Kyle Simpson with 1.3 seconds left to win the game.Cumberland beats Cawood for the first time since 1992 and snaps a 24 game Harlan County win streak.Very good,intense game.

That was the final?Wow,I was wondering how Harlan would play after the loss to Cawood.How was Harlan's scoring distributed?

Well Cumberland is still a good defensive team and always will be, but they love to Run'N'Gun.
