Exactly...their heart is in football and whatever else they play, not basketball!!! What coach would want a kid to come out for the team if their heart wasn't into the sport! I'm tired of hearing people cry about kids not trying out whose "heart" wasn't into it!

Obviously, the kids who made the team are the ones who have accepted the challenge and are willing to put in the time and effort! IMO, the ones who didn't try out lack the heart and will to win as a team. Nobody is bigger than the program itself!!! The sun will rise in the East and CCHS Basketball will move forward!!!

That would make for a potentially solid regional tourney:thumb: How many years has BBHS made it to the regional since entering the 10th?

Hopefully the KHSAA recognizes that so we can receive some quality officiated games during district play! It seemed like there was a questionable call(s) every game, the finals being the worst, for both teams. Let the kids and the coaches decide the game, not the officials!

Despite what the polls say, any person with the slightest knowledge about basketball knows that Scott High School is the favorite in the 37th District, whether the big favorite or little favorite! They have solid talent with the most experience returning. They had a very strong summer and the Camels looked somewhat inconsistent. I am sure the Camels are content with flying low on the radar within the District and the Region because March is the only month that matters and we all know what happened to the favorite last year!

Thanks for the numbers...Sounds like you've wrapped up the District Title this year along with the 10th Region Title. I'll be sure to put out an all points bulletin and notify the rest of the 10th Region.

Well after last year's first round game Goldie, maybe you and GRC should just stay away from the 37th District completely...

At that supposed man to man defense was a sieve for teams that could take care of the ball...if GRC shows up at both ends of the floor they will be tough out for anybody.

Doesn't Campbell have everyone back besides their point guard? I figured they would have a chance to be a threat in the region. Not a good omen for contending in the region if you can't even get to the finals of the MCIT.

King is good. But not better than Rash and Nerl. Both of these guys play both ends of the floor extremely well. Hatton wouldn't be a bad addition to the list.

Brossart will be very dangerous. Good coaching staff and experience coming back will contribute to a successful season.

I agree with you about the backcourt. The Occonnor kid could be a flat out stud if he continues to work, which I know he will.

Being a big 10 region supporter, I think Scott does have some nice talent too. I have seen all the teams play and know the players for all the teams coming back. Clark will be number one, and probably Mason second even thought they will be young. Campbell beats Scott by 25+ the first time and then loses at the buzzer. I don't know what gives with that scenario. Anyone want to give a top five?

Its pretty interesting that Scott beats Campbell by one at the buzzer after Campbell flies through the district undefeated and then loses to Clark at the buzzzer after being up nine in the fourth. That being said, I guess you have to earn some respect and win the big games. I thought Campbell had a lot of juniors, and If I am not mistaken the one junior they had was the best player by far in the district tournament.
