  1. I am very familiar with Tori Lange and her soccer ability, but don't forget about some of the other sophomores coming in this year like the Russo girls, and Berberich, who did not play last year, due to an injury. They can hang quite well with Tori. As far as Highland's goalie leaving. If I am not mistaken, they have a very good goalie who will be a junior this coming in year in Laura Bush. I think she will do very well in goalie this coming year at Highland's. Best of luck to all of the girls soccer teams in Northern Kentucky. Even though Notre Dame lost alot of good seniors last year, I still look for them to be tough this coming year.
  2. I know it is a little early yet, but does anyone know how many girls are trying out this year for Notre Dame soccer. I know every year they have a huge number of girls trying for a spot on the team. I believe last year, there was around 50 freshman girls who tried out.
  3. The incoming freshman is Lauren Tibbs. She is going to be a good player. Hopefully, things can come together for Scott, and they will have a good season this coming year.
  4. Is Aaron Brown going to be eligible to play this year? I had heard he has been practicing up at the gym this summer?
  5. I had recently heard that there is a basketball player from Holy Cross that is going to be playing at Scott this coming year. Is there any truth to this? Also is Tyler Baker coming back to Scott to play basketball this coming year?
  6. I am not so sure about Bishop Brossart. They lost a lot of seniors last year. But they also have a heck of a coach. I agree with U Reach. I think Bracken County is going to be a team to be reckoned with this year. Best of luck to all teams in the 10th region this year.
  7. That is good news. I know exactly who she is. My daughter has played against her before.
  8. Does anyone know of any Northern Kentucky girls who will be attending the Bellarmine Blue Chip camp in mid July?
  9. My daughter does not play for Boone. But I agree with you, CootyB25, in that the underclass girls on most teams do not respect the upper class girls especially the seniors, which is a shame. That is a shame that things are that way at Boone, because I know they are a good team and should do well this season.
  10. 3 point shooter. I am sorry about your daughter. I am sure that is hard on you as well, as it is on her. But that is great that you support her. I am sure that her decision was the right one for her. But, it is just a shame to see girls who have played all throughout grade school, and middle school, and then decide not to play their senior year. I know if my daughter were to make that decision, I know I would miss it just as much as she does. But, I would support her. It is sad to hear that seniors are the ones that are not coming back to play. I would think that going into high school as a freshman, that you always look forward to playing your senior year. But, I have noticed that it seems like as the high school years move forward, that alot of players tend to not come back. I know last year at Scott, there was one senior on the team.
  11. "The Scott team has moments of brillance and then make you wonder who that is on the floor. " I could not agree with you any more on that statement, Nkybdad. But, hopefully, they will jell, and when the season starts, be ready to play. I think this could definitely be a good year for them. They have good post players, and a good point guard. I know I am looking forward to watching them play this basketball season.
  12. 24's mom. I definitely agree with you on Ludlow. I think they have a great coach, and a great program. I think they will do really well this year. And, yes the gym was toasty last night. Scott played last night and beat St. henry pretty good. Then 90 minutes later, they played Williamstown with the same girls playing, and looked like a totally different team. But, I definitely give credit to the girls of Williamstown and their coach. They played hard and won the game. I know Scott plays Williamstown again today, so hopefully, they will have their game faces on and ready to play. I have enjoyed watching the games this week, just wish it was a little cooler. But I am sure that they girls playing basketball out on the floor are a lot hotter than I am watching in the stands. I know that last year Walton Verona was out Ludlow's team camp, and if I remember right, they did pretty good. Not sure where they are this year. And, yes, I definitely agree that Lauren Hargett is going to be tough this year.
  13. What players does Connor have returning for this year? I know of Long, Hodges, and Beasley. But who else is returning? Do they have any promising freshman coming in? I know Connor has always had good middle school girls teams.
  14. Yes, Unfortunately, Benzinger does show her emotions out on the floor whether it be positive or negative. That is something that she should try to work on. Selena is a good player. Grant has alot to look forward to this season. I know Scott plays Grant sometime this season. As far as Williamstown, I know they beat Beechwood, but other than that, I am not sure.
  15. I was at the camps last night and saw Grant County play St. Henry. Definitely a good game for both teams, with Grant County coming out on top. Grant County played tough, and they are physical. 24's mom, your daughter did a good job last night. From what you have said previously, I know she is not a 100 percent, but she did a good job. Also, who is the blonde with the pony tail. She is a very pretty girl and is a post player. She is a tough player under the basket. Scott played very inconsistent last night. They looked really good the previous night against Grant County, but came out last night against Beechwood, and barely pulled out a win. The point guard, Benzinger, is struggling with back pain, so she is definitely not a 100 percent out on the floor.
  16. I think that Scott does have alot of potential this year. With the experience of their point guard, Benzinger and also Brown and Lauren Tibbs, hopefully, things will go well. 24's mom, I really don't think you would know me if you saw me, but I hope everything goes well with her calves. I did notice that she had the shorter socks on last night. Which one is the Williamstown coaches daughter, I was trying to figure it out last night. Is she a guard or a post player. Looking forward to watching the games the rest of the week.
  17. I saw some of the Williamstown and Henry Co. game as well. Neither team never gave up. I also watched the Scott and Grant County game. Scott looked good last night. They definitely played as a team and got the win. Grant County is going to be tough this year. 24's mom, I saw you there last night. I always enjoy watching your daughter play.
  18. I saw most of the second half of the St.Henry and Henry County game. I thought St. Henry looked pretty good. They did a good job rotating players in and out of the game. I also saw Scott play Williamstown. Williamstown is a tough team. They never gave up, and kept playing hard until the end. Scott played all of their players. Both Kiki Brown and Lauren Tibbs looked good. Lauren is really coming around, and I think by this time next year, she will look even better. Scott has a lot of incoming freshman coming in this year, so I think that they have a bright future ahead. Scott has more freshman than they do upper class girls.
  19. The teams that I know of are Williamstown, Owen County, Henry County, Scott High School, St. Henry High School, and Ludlow. There may be a couple more, but I am not sure who they are.
  20. The only time it does not occur, is when they are not at her games. I do my best not to set close to them. I hate to have to say that, but it is very embarassing, and I really do feel bad for her.
  21. This young lady came to play basketball and represent Scott High in a scrimmage game and her parents embarrassed her to the point she wanted them removed from the game. Even the coaches made a comment that ignore them because of how they act LBBC, I know exactly who you are talking about. And, I feel bad for the girl. She is a very nice girl, and has alot of potential.
  22. Does anyone know what schools are attending EKU girls basketball camp starting this Sunday? The only school that I know of in Northern Kentucky is Scott High School.
  23. Spring Schneider is the senior representing Scott.
  24. I am sure that Highlands and Notre Dame will be up there. I know that Notre Dame lost quite a few seniors this past year. They have a good group of sophomores that will be coming back next year. No matter what Notre Dame loses, they always seem to be able to load back up the following year. I think Newport Catholic as well as Brossart will have good teams. And, if I am not mistaken, Calvary Christian and Simon Kenton should be good this year too. And don't forget about Ryle, they always are contenders at the end of the year as well.
  25. So, who are some of the top Juniors and Seniors in Northern Kentucky for girls basketball? Here are the ones I can think of: Chelsea Tolliver - Simon Kenton Jacy Bradley - Boone County Katie Behrens - Boone County Notre Dame - Casey Jackson Conner - Allison Long NDA - Katie Tierney Katie Kitchen - Campbell County Who are some of the others from some of the other schools out there in Northern Kentucky such as Brossart, Highlands, New Cath, Ludlow, Calvary Christian, Scott, Newport, Dayton and Bellevue, and any other schools out there?
