Zach Osborne and I think one other player are with a HS team that made to to the state semi finals last year, It may be PRP, not sure though.

I agree, if Beechwood stays healthy they will be very tough to beat.

There are 12 regions in Boys Golf, and 10 in girls Golf. Here is the link from the KHSAA website. http://www.khsaa.org/golf/alignment.pdf I am not sure if the allignment will change for 2008, I know that they make changes every few years.

I understand Beechwood is in the process of looking into a significant upgrade to their field. I believe that Holy Cross and Holmes JV teams use the Covington FOP Field. The one place that is worse than Beechwood, is playing a game at Silver Grove H.S Skinned infield, they use a portable mound, the backstop extends overhead about 3 feet infront of home plate. And then throw in the number of people that feel it is their right to just walk through the outfield to get from one side to the other. I know that during the Silver Grove and Beechwood game, the umpires had to stop the game I think 3 times because of people walking through the outfield. It would have been a major upgrade to play that game at Beechwood.

I think Beechwood had just 1 sophmore (starting Pitcher) A freshman, several 8th graders, and even a 7th grader in the starting lineup.

In Northern kentucky and the Greater Cincy area AABC is nothing more than just a reference. The league is actually called the Southwest Ohio Baseball League, It is a multi-saction league with AABC just being one the many affiliations it has. Some of the others are USSSA, Pony, Barret Flethcer, Hap Dumont, CABA, Babe Ruth, NABF and NSA. In 14 and under there are 48 teams seperated into 3 division.
