Anyone know the match-ups?

I have to go with my Panthers on this one, Although I think it will be a close game due to Trimble County and their scrappy play. Carroll Co. has not had a win for a while so hopefully they will come out with the right attitude and get the job done. Good luck to all..

Who is matched up?

I had the wrong match-up information: Carroll vs. Henry 10:00 am Gallatin Vs. Owen 11:30 am winner plays at 2:00

It is hard to tell because the teams change so much depending on what Varsity needs. However, at the beginning of the year Henry Co. really had a good shooting team. I think it will be a fun tournament to watch and of course I wish it would go the same way. I am sure that GC JV has dramatically changed with all of the injuries that have happened. Good Luck to all and I look forward to seeing these young girls compete.

What will we do with our free time, I guess we will not be having Hot Dogs and Nachos for dinner! I believe CC boys game is cancelled also, it was a make-up from last week.

It sounds like Grant County and Gallatin County are the walking wounded. I hope all the girls get well soon and can finish out the season.!

Should be the same for the All A classic regionals.

I hope the CC vs. Oldham County game is on for tonight. The roads seem fine now..

Is there a rule that if the school is closed that they can not travel to an open school for a game. In this case the weather will be fine by noon, but school was cancelled due to freezing rain in the morning.

Before I predict..Is the post player for GC back (Amanda) Grant has a pretty good one and I think Gallatin will need her healthy to match up in that position.

Thanks - Is there a place to see the dates and locations of the regionals even though the teams are not set. I am trying to schedule trips and want to make sure that I do not miss the 8th region tourney.

Is there a place that fans can go to get the dates and match-ups for these tournaments on the KHSAA website? I am looking for the brackets, locations and dates for the districts and then the dates for the regional tournaments. Can someone post a link.?

I have to say that I think the Eminence girls really have a lot of class. They come out, night after night, and really play hard. They had very few fans at the game but continued to put out an effort every trip down the floor. I found myself cheering for them when they scored or had a good play during the game.

Amber Girdy at Carroll County. She is new to the community and has been an outstanding addition to the team. She is quick and never gives up on any game. I would put her as one of the best defensive players in the 8th region. CC also appreciates her scoring abilities. I like this thread because there are so many girls out there who help make the "stars" and play a strong role in the teams success.

I agree with you Buttels on the officials. There are bad calls in almost every game I go to. It is the coaches responsibility to discuss and show their displeasure. Every once in a while it gets out of hand. I would be concerned with fans going that far to give a team technicals. The ref are a small community and I would be afraid that this would start a trend for GC ball that would in the end hurt the kids.

Too bad..These injuries are really taking out many of our best players. I know that she struggled this year. I wish her best of luck.

CC beat Gallatin in the final game (31st district) in what sounds like a very eventful tournament in Gallatin County. Congratulations Panthers.:banana:
