I agree Steel..On the girls side I did not see any of the girls on any team booing the Henry County girl when she was announced on the girls all tourney team..of course they are not my favorite fans on a good day. On the girls side the teams stood up and clapped for each other.

Predictions? Here is mine .. SK over Owen Shelby over Oldham Carroll over WV South over Anderson Sk over Shelby Carroll over South SK/Carroll in the final...I wish it would be Carroll but that might be pie in the sky! But I can not bet against my Panthers!

At this point no teams can be considered a cake walk. It's tough to play the same team 4 times in one season.

I was suggesting the District could be held at the smaller gyms, I agree with you on the regionals

They need to at least get a score board that shows the player fouls..it is so dark in there I am not sure how the kids see the basket. If Eminence will hold the ALL A then Gallatin or Carroll has to be big enough for the district.

This game is too close to call, Henry will have a homecourt advantage so they will give Gallatin all they can handle. I think Gallatin really wants to have this title so I will pick GC by 3.

Ok since Owen won in the girls and I picked Gallatin, I am going with Gallatin to win the boys... I hate to see either of these teams not make it to Regionals, they both have had great seasons!

I think this one will be a close one and it will come down to the guard play on both teams. Walton will have all of their players back and may pull the upset, but if they play like they have the last several games it will be Grant by at least 8.

Buttels - I ran the 110 hurdles also, it is a lot harder than it looks..I also messed my knee up and it still crunches when I walk. Well..wish us luck against Owen Co. this Friday. My CC girls did not quite have their game together against Henry. I hope they win the district and have a shot at the region. It would be great to see someone from the 31st go to state..boys or girls. Buttels - are you familiar with the how they do the match-ups in the region? I know the 1st place team usually plays the 2nd place form another but is that drawn? If so could we end up against our own district again?

I do not know anything about track, it is my daughter's first year... We will have to learn together, I do know that she is running the 800 M and high jump... I watched Amanda play tonight and she was working so hard, I really hate the end of the season for the seniors, especially watching how hard she played. When I left I thought they would pull it out..they were in some foul trouble though I believe. Good Season Buttels and I hope Amanda does well where ever she decides to go to school.

Not only do we talk basketball but we are really witty and funny too...see our posts on the "holding pen" , "Cattle Prod" and Shasta.... I am going to miss talking to you guys when the seaon is over..my next sport is track and I hardly think there is the speculation and discussion on that. Welcome Firechief..
