I remember a few years back where Lex Cath was the class of the 11th,they were playing at Eastern and a game Henry Clay squad beat them. It was very packed that night and I expect the same on Saturday.

I think Derrick Byars is more than deserving. Lofton missed a few games, that could've played a key factor. We all know Lofton is a great player. I'm still mad my boy Al Horford didn't get more votes, but go figure.

You definitely can't knock on Central's schedule. They played all the teams they could. They can't help that they are in a weak district. They have their work cut out for them to repeat as 11th Region Champions. Facing a very talented Tates Creek team and then possibly 2 of the top 3 teams in the state. Ouch.

It's all about matchups this time of year. Who matches up better with who. Scott County has a good matchup with Station. But Station is more than capable of beating them on any given night. I want to see a Station/Lex Cath meeting in the Region sometime. I've always wondered what would happen if those two squared off.

11th region is unreal. 5 teams in that region would have a legitimate chance at cutting the nets down in Rupp.
