All three Mercer running backs with well over 100 yards apiece. Another passing TD for the team that can't throw the ball.... Defense was again just dominating. Keep it up fellas....we have a score to settle.

Russell is a model of community pride, facilities, coaching, and player dedication to over the years build such a program. I hope those of us at Mercer Co. can continue to build towards such a program with a realization that it takes years. You all have much to be proud of.

75% of Mercer's pass completions have gone for TD's. Forcing Mercer to pass is not the answer. Having speedy players catch the ball in space is not the way to beat this team. IMO you have to beat their line to stop the run or pass. These are the guys that make this team special.....they really do their job well.

You are a class act Mr. Network. I agree with you about BGP also. Looking at other forums makes you appreciate how decent most of the posters on this site really are.

:eek: ...sorry. Meant to say Warren Central for 4A. Had to think for a while on BG in the 3A predictions and guess I got stuck on them.

We'll miss it also BigDaddy..... And personally speaking, Newport with Lloyd close behind were the classiest programs we have had the pleasure to compete against the last few years. Good luck to the Wildcats and Coach Schlarman in the years to come.

I agree. Mercer's defense will have to answer the bell in this game and I think they have the personnel to take away Larue's weapons.

Walker played one heck of a game. The last TD was just pure effort. If he is not able to go next week, Mercer will be fine. Griffith will pick up the slack just fine and Mercer will not miss a beat.

Great job Ads.....the cream rises to the top once again. Keep it up.

I was very impressed with the atmosphere and facilities at Russell last year. It was electric and fun even as a member of the visiting team.

Buddy Mercer is just having fun this year. As bad as you want them to feel pressure and fail, the simple fact is they don't feel pressured. Nobody in this thread has guaranteed a title. You can remember what you want. Mercer is not that far a drive from NKY and we have a Cash 'n Go.:sssh:
