  1. By the way...what did the RHS fans think of the Rams new jerseys??? I thought they fit much better and I liked the new school look!
  2. I really dont think the hounds can stop the rams on a dry field. I look for RHS to put up more points then they did last week. If they can put up 40 pts. on a very wet and soggy field, I think they can light up the scoreboard this friday on a dry field.
  3. Raceland beat Paris 40-8 on friday. RHS rolled to a 34-0 half time lead but then seemed to let up a little in the second half. The rams defense dominated the game. Perhaps the wet field conditions might have slowed the Air Raid a little bit but they still managed 40 pts.. I look for RHS to send a message on friday. Rams cannot look ahead to a rematch with LCA though, they have to focus on Paris this week. Raceland-46 Paris-6
  4. This game was only 14-8 going into the 4th quarter last time these teams met. Stevens might cause the eagles a little trouble but I still look for LCA to win this one. LCA-38 Bath Co.-15
  5. Great win RAMS! Orange Crush was all over the place tonight! The D has really been hitting hard lately. I thought the offense played well despite the poor field conditions. I really think the Rams can put up more than 40 points next friday if the field is dry. Great game by Derrick Beach!
  6. Raceland had walk through practice today at Ram Stadium. The field is in pretty good shape but things will definetly be getting sloppy tomorrow night. Everyone seems to be healthy and ready to go. This is a huge game for both teams....... I also heard a little rumor that the boys might be breaking out some new jerseys for the game. The rams have been getting held alot due to their jerseys being so loose, so the RHS coaches put in a order for some new ones. However, I'm not sure if the order will be in yet.
  7. Rams had a nice offensive practice yesterday. Senior DE/RB Joe Stephens practiced yesterday after sitting out against Fairview due to a injured shoulder. It will be nice to get him back this week.
  8. Raceland WR and K/P Returner Derrick Beach is reciever alot of attention from Marshall and West Virginia. Derrick is a great athlete with outstanding speed. I think he has a great chance to play college football, if not at the D-1 lever then definetly D-1aa or D-2. Also Raceland QB Scott Grizzle has visited Eastern, Western, and Marshall. However, I look for Grizzle to end up playing at the D-2 or D-3 level due to his height. I know Mount Union College in Alliance Ohio is VERY interested and has talked to him several times this season. They are currently 6-0 and ranked number 1 in the nation in D-3.
  9. Thanks for supporting the Rams Statmaster and Cville. Im glad you have alot of confidence in your team. All i can say is, WE CANT WAIT to prove you wrong. Make all the comments you want about the play calling and the previous game with LCA. Niether of you are at practice everday with the boys, niether of you are playing in the games, or in the locker room with the team. Raceland is more determined then ever. The Rams played ONE bad game, and it just so happened to be against LCA, and Raceland still almost won! Just wait and see when the Rams visit Lexington....The proof will be right there on the scoreboard, and I dont want see any of the doubters jumping on the band wagon.
  10. I dont think you all understand how good this Raceland team is! RACELAND- 44 Paris-6
  11. For one, Raceland did not get whipped by LCA. The Rams played their WORST game of the season that night and still only got beat 21-10. The LCA loss was the best thing to happen to the Rams. They are more focused and determined than ever before. Remember my words... Raceland WILL beat LCA. No doubt about it. After they do that, I am VERY confident that they can make it all the way to Papa Johns. The RACELAND RAMS are LIGIT! Something special is happening in Raceland. But dont take my word for it, the stats and the play of the young men do all the talking. I advise you not to make an opinion about the Rams until you have seen them play.
  12. Great win for the Rams! They are right where they need to be at this point in the season. The offense was able to move the ball at will all night. If not for 2 first quarter fumbles, the Rams would probably have scored 30+ points by half time. Grizzle stayed poised all night and found his go to guys in Mullins, Beach, and Boyles. He really showed why he is one of the top QB's in KY last night. The "ORANGE CRUSH" was hitting as hard as ever! Mullins was punishing people from the free safety spot. As was Thompson, Forrest, Rogers, and Caldwell. In my opinion the Raceland defense could be the best "D" this area has seen in the past 10 years. There is no doubt in my mind that the Rams can make it all the way to Louisville! Keep it going RAMS! Get focusd for a battle with Paris this friday. BTW it was nice to see senior cornerback Tyler Chambers back in the lineup last night. He has been out the past 3 weeks with a hamstring injury. He is a big asset to the Rams run stopping defense. Chambers presses the line and stops the run just as well as any corner in area. Hopefully he will remain healthy through the playoffs.
  13. Benji Mullins-Raceland Leading receiver for the Rams who are scoring over 38 points per game.
  14. Rams finished up the week with a great defensive practice on wed. Thursday walk through and then off to mossy bottom friday. The Rams will be focused and ready to go! Look for some hard hits from the Orange Crush and some big plays from the Raceland offense.
  15. Trust me oldram the offense will be just fine. They are averaging well over 35 points a game. Combine that with a "D" that has given up less than 21 points in EVERY game this year and you have a pretty impressive team.
  16. Just wondering statmaster...are you a Raceland Ram fan? I seem to feel alot of negative energy through your posts. Or are you just not happy with the teams 7-1 performance thus far?
  17. T.J. Maynard and Gerad Parker of Raceland. Both are former University of Kentucky players who have great knowledge of the game. The players can really relate to both of these guys. Maynard and Parker would both be excellent head coaches at Raceland when Coach Vanderhoof leaves. But dont get me wrong, Raceland loves Coach Hoof! I was just saying that Parker and Maynard as excellent coaches as well.
