  1. I understand your take on the excitement. I would just remind everyone that the unfair argument works both ways when you talk about having to knock teams off. If your from Louisville, you will say that it is unfair that the three best teams have to knock one another off with only one reaching the finals. If you are a public school outside of Louisville, you would claim it is unfair to have to beat at least two, if not all three, of the powerhouses that are within 30 miles of one another. I think the blind draw make it fair. It will go back and forth.
  2. Every other state has the teams in the same area eliminate one another. Thats why it is called a region. There have been many years that the two best teams in Ohio were from Cincy. However, they has to beat one another to advance to the semis.
  3. Campbell County- Aaron Maines I am surprised that no one on this board has mentioned Pelphry or Ackeres.
  4. Quite the opposite. I was agreeing with your post and rolling my eyes at the fans that are blaming the entire lack of sucess on the coaching staff, not to mention ridiculing the coaching staff's decisions. If the sophmores are even as good, then they should be playing.:thumb:
  5. It seems that coach Pardue understands the definition of insanity. Btw, that is to do the same thing over and over, only to expect different results. He is not getting what he needs out of his upper classmen. Competition usually helps. If you can get the same thing out of a sophmore that you can get out of a senior, then you might as well play the sophmore. I am not there, but it seems that a JV team can't do worse than seven turnovers. Boyle County fans, Just ask yourselves if you are angry that coach Pardue is ruining the program, or if you are angry that he is doing what is right for the program's future, at the expense of leaving non performers on the field.
  6. I know I have spent the night in jail for less worthy causes.
  7. I have to seriously wonder if there is a better AAA team than Highlands this season. I also believe Ryle would beat several of the 6-10 teams in AAAA.
  8. Clinton signed it after three sets of changes were made. Yes, the dems in congress still did cry foul over it.
  9. I think your missing my point. The 37% that you said is far from the majority was the majority of people who enacted their civic duty, which is to vote. I never made the claim that you didn't enact your civic duty, I just stated the obvious that out of the people who did so, the 37% of the population that voted for Bush in the last election was the majority. I also disagree completely about our leaders taking action to make us less safe. What actions would have made us safer?
  10. No, just the bulk of Americans that are responsible enough to enact their civic duty.
  11. Ncc is certainly winning the series, but I know they lost in 98, 99, 00. I think that was a year they went to the state finals, and the camels were 2-8. Im just saying, I think the camels have given Ncc plenty of competition through the years.
  12. The Camels will beat Holmes and SK. They could likely beat NCC as well.
  13. World leaders do love Bill. Of course, world leaders aren't interested in pushing the interest of the United States. I wan't a leader as my president, and so does the bulk of the American people. It was visible in 2004 when the silent majority reelected GW. Make no mistake, when our country is in peril, the silent majority will come out and support people who are not idle and weak. Would you have really rather had Clinton in office during a time of military threat? Let alone Kerry?
  14. Yes, I miss the days when I had a president that wouldn't take a stand on an issue, or make a difficult decision as well. That is what I really look for in a leader.
  15. Whipping someone isn't outscoring them by fifty. Whipping someone is giving them such a physical beating that they begin to lay on the field, not wanting to finish the game.
  16. It has nothing to do with which Holmes team shows up. Ryle has the right attitude, tenacity, strength, and talent to whip Holmes if they play their game. They are outmatched by attitude and physicality.
  17. I agree. There is no doubt in my mind that Dixie will be twice as good week ten as they are right now. Sorell is good at teaching keys on running plays between the tackles. It will be a war in week ten.
