  1. Why did H vs. T DESERVE to be the culmination. Why is it that another AAAA should have to beat two out of the three big three to win state when they are all from the same city. This is ludicrous. There is nothing in the Ten Commandments or the Constitution that says that Louisville teams should be pitted on different sides of the playoff brackets. We are one of the only states in the union that have ever had more than one team out of the same city make the finals in the same class.
  2. Griffin is a great player, and a great athlete. #1 from Cov has more tools. I am simply trying to not be biased. I am not sure if Griffin's personal statistics would be as high playing in the same arena of competition. Besides, there isn't very much comparison on the tools between the two that will be looked at to obtain a scholarship.
  3. No, they were not. Cov Cath will win AAA.
  4. #1 from Cov Cath is the best reciever that I have seen play in NKY this year, and is definately the best looking college prospect at that position.
  5. I think you better get your front a little tougher before you talk about wining state. Not to mention, did you play Highlands or Cov in J.V. The state is not your region.
  6. No, I think he is laying it on the Bengals lack of being able to make adjustments at halftime, along with the Bengals lack of an answer for their opponents adjustments. That is the reason for a lack of sucess in the second half this year, IMO.
  7. They benefit from a system that has allowed their talent and ambition to gain them their wealth. That doesn't mean that they should pay any larger percentage of the tax burden than anyone else. It is ridiculous to think that people who have sucess should be punished for it. Flat tax is fair tax, and this is coming from a man that is anything but rich.
  8. You will not beat Beechwood and NewCath deep in the playoffs unless you dedicate that much time. They do. I watched film last year of Pikeville vs. Ncc. Pikeville looked talented, but physically weak. I don't see anything wrong with spending extra time to improve your football team in these areas. There is no burn out in championship teams. They all spend that kind of time, some a lot more than others.
  9. Dave Clark will do a fine job like always.:thumb:
  10. That we can certainly agree on. With that effort, it will never be caught.
  11. That scenario happens every time a reciever tips a football.
  12. Did I make an excuse? I simply stated what will happen when the pocket closes and a quarterback can't follow through with his back foot. Yes he was pressured from his right hip, which limits a follow through. The quarterback through a catchable football. Catch it. Getting hit is part of the game. Running your mouth about being thrown the ball more isn't.
  13. I am willing to bet that neither of those two football coaches were very impressed with the reciever during that play, were they?
  14. That is his JOB! That is why he gets PAID. When you are under close pressure, your ball is going to float because of a lack of a full follow through. The line is banged up. It is time for supposed premier players to make plays, not run their lips. Recievers must be willing to take a pounding. 85 is much less of a threat if he doesn't want to go to the middle of the field.
  15. When the ball goes off your fingertips, and your elbows are still bent, nothing was air mailed over your head.
  16. They run the same play later in the game, this time he breaks his read to the sideline rather than the middle. That time he used his fourty inch vertical and easily came down with the football. Of course, Ed Reed wasn't charging at his face on the sidelines. The pass was just as high the second time.
  17. Watch the football game, tell me different. It is amazing to me how we pad athletes that capture media attention. Poor play reaps poor results, then when the game is over it is someone else's fault.
  18. Is no one going to admit that their best "skilled" player is and alligator arming crap talker who lost his team the game last week. Should he be thrown more balls so they can go off his fingertips and be returned for a touchdown?
  19. Gentlemen, you must admit that your butt better cash the checks that your mouth wrights every week if you are going to run it like that. Chad ran a read route up the sideline this week, broke it to the inside towards Ed Reed, and didn't attack the football high because he was scared. It went off his fingertips for an interception and a touchdown. They run the same play later, he breaks to the sideline, the ball is high again, and he goes up and makes the play. Point being is, alligator arming footballs across the middle is not backing up his mouth as a football player. Maybe what he really needs is a testicle check.:scared:
  20. Go even further and say that minimum wage goes against basic economic principles. The only way that it is effective is if you raise it over the wage set by the market, then you will in turn be raising inflation. Otherwise, it is an empty action that is nothing more than a burocratic move to initiate support from the uneducated that don't understand economic principle. Otherwise, a political ploy.
  21. You simply can't raise the taxes on a need without the tax being passed on to the consumer.
  22. Please name me the jobs that pay 5.15/hour, even in depressed areas. High School kids make 6.75/hour starting at Micky D's. The market sets minimum wage currently far higher than our government sets it. What do you propose to make minimum wage? 9.00/hour? The rise will not be enough to effect actual wages in the economy. Once again, if you have jobs that you know of in these depressed areas that are long term and currently pay minimum wage, please let me know.
