Very good game by North. They wanted it more than we did. Hopefully we make the playoffs and we both win the first round and meet again. Seemed the same as the Central game, we failed to capitalize when we dominated the first quarter and then it was North's game from there. Still not all that impressed with Dalton. He had 3 good runs tonight. RD Reynolds did more to beat us tonight than Cissell did, but hats off Dalton got his yards.

Everyone can say that .. we shouldn't have lost to Fairdale or Nelson County either. You can go on and on about how you stopped Rakes last year but we have "scoreboard" for 8 years running now. Nobody has run on us the last two years except Bowling Green last year. To beat us you have to throw. Reynolds and Cissell will not beat us on the ground. Bottom line is it should be a good game but there is no reason to think this year will be any different than the last 8 years. You can throw out all the stats you want but they only one that matters is scoreboard. 8 Straight wins, you guys have scored 55 points total in those 8 games. You're feeling good because you are coming off a win vs. Atherton and played us tough last year in a game that you had every single thing working in your favor and still lost. You are also the one who was laughing at BE after our loss to Fairdale but were really quiet when you lost to Doss. So I imagine we won't hear from you after Friday. But good luck, and if you win I'll be the first to congratulate you but I won't expect the same from you.

Well they are the same age ... they are the same type of runner, both can break arm tackles Cissell might be slightly better but they both racked up a ton of yards against everyone but Central and BE. With 8 straight victories in the series I can't see anything that is going to change. We both had a better team last year. Yours was considerably better and you had every single thing working in your favor last year and still lost. Give me any reason at all that things are going to be different this year? Any logical reason?

Cissel had 67 yards against us last year and Raleigh who runs exactly the same as Cissel had 40 against us last week.

If every thing works the way it should in our District then Valley should be playing Bullitt East again next week. Not two weeks in a row but twice in three weeks.

37-20 East, Cissell under 100 yards.

I agree ... slim chance for East not to make the playoffs but we can just take care of business by stopping North. I actually think this game will be a 14-20 point win for East. North gave it their best shot last year and came up short. We can stop the run, we struggle against the pass. Cissell won't get 100 yards in this game.

Like BE said they are very young. They control their own destiny for the playoffs. If they win out they get the first round playoff game at home. Lose out and they probably miss the playoffs. One win gets them in. Their prospects once in are fair at best. Central will more than likely come out of this region. BE should play them closer if they play but unlikely they make up the 40 points from the first loss.

Should be a very tight close game. I'm going with BE by 3 points.

If that's what HC has coming down the line they are in for a few down years.

Bullitt has a good shot with Fairdale, Atherton and BE left 4) figuring point #1, BE and Valley control their own destiny for the #2 spot. 5) Central is the favorite for sure to come out of the region but it won't be easy for them. 6) my predicitions october 13 Valley (5-1) beats Doss (4-2) Central (6-0) over Jtown (1-6) Waggener (2-4) over Atherton (0-6) N. Bullitt (3-3) over Fairdale (3-4) BE (4-2) October 20 BE (5-2) over Valley (5-2) Waggener (3-4) over Doss (4-3) N. Bullitt (4-3) over Atherton (0-7) Central (7-0) over Fairdale (3-5) Jtown (1-6) October 27 BE (6-2) over N. Bullitt (4-4) Central (8-0) over Doss (4-4) Waggener (4-4) over Valley (5-3) J'Town (2-6) over Atherton (0-8) Fairdale (3-5) So 3 way tie between Waggener, Doss and N. Bullitt with them all 1-1 against each other. Not sure what the tiebreaker is after that. Playoffs Central over ?? No I wasn't making a case for BE beating Central. I still think Central is the better team, just not 40 points better.

Ever since they ran out Coach Reidinger for outing the principle, HC has been a very very undisciplined team. They lack numbers in their program so they let the kids get away with any and every thing. It's starting to show in their record.

You gotta think that Doss will lose to Central. So that would make the Valley - BE game for second place. With Waggener playing Central so close it just goes to show what a fluke Central blowing BE out was.

Looks better now though .. 5 teams battling for 3 spots with North Bullitt and Fairdale on the outside. Loser of N. Bullitt and Fairdale next week is out. Doss-Valley looks interesting. BE wins out and they probably get the #2 seed.

Waggener is out if they lose. Playoff picture gets real muddy if BE doesn't take care of business tonight. Funny that guy who was making fun of BE's "Tradition doesn't graduate" slogan last week is being real quiet now.

If BE takes out Waggener tonight (big if Waggener isn't as bad as their record indicates) That would basically leave 4 teams for the final 3 playoff spots. I think N. Bullitt rebounds to beat Fairdale next week. I see Doss losing to both Valley and Central. So IMO the Valley/BE game will be for the #2 spot.

Okay interesting .. pretty sure I heard Cissell is 17 right now, but not sure when he turned 17. Way back in the olden days when I played Basketball in Indy (early 80's) it was you can't be 19 at anytime during your season.

Maybe you can answer this. Is he going to get to play when he is a senior? I know growing up in Indiana you couldn't be 19 at any point in the season and play.

Tough loss for the Chargers. Hats off to Fairdale. Played a great game. East is just too young with only 6 seniors on the team. 4-3 for the Chargers 3-2 in the district. I say they need 2 wins for the playoffs, all 3 for a first round home game.

One thing I've wondered about Cissell .. what is the senior age limit for playing HS football here in KY. I know growing up in Indiana way back in the dark ages, if you were 18 before the school year started or 19 before the season started you weren't allowed to play. Is this going to effect Cissell?

I still think the Central game was a fluke .. while I think they were better ... I don't think they were 40 points better. Looking forward to the rematch in the playoffs.

Well one piece of advice I'd give Doss is to kick-off and punt everything out of bounds, BE return team is stellar this year. I still think it'll be an easy game this year, but Doss will be tough with that sophomore class for the next two years.
