BE recovered form last week's letdown with a solid win. The playoff picture in the district is still a long way from being decided.

Good win for BE and getting back on track.

Looks better now though .. 5 teams battling for 3 spots with North Bullitt and Fairdale on the outside. Loser of N. Bullitt and Fairdale next week is out.

 

Doss-Valley looks interesting. BE wins out and they probably get the #2 seed.

Doss/Valley is a very interesting matchup. Doss could be anywhere from a #1 seed to missing the playoffs. Valley could wind up #2 to missing the playoffs. This has to be the most exciting district race in the state.

You gotta think that Doss will lose to Central. So that would make the Valley - BE game for second place. With Waggener playing Central so close it just goes to show what a fluke Central blowing BE out was.

Same goes for North Bullitt hanging with Central. BE laid an egg that night, if those 2 meet again I would expect a much closer game. But BE needs to worry about Valley and not playoff scenarios.

I dont think you can call blow outs flukes. Maybe they could have played them closer, but you cant justify BE beating Central because some other team played Central close. Central will probably be #1 and i hope BE gets the 2 spot, so they can play each other again in the playoffs. Once/if BE beats them then we can start talking shenanigans.

No I wasn't making a case for BE beating Central. I still think Central is the better team, just not 40 points better.
