Very good game by North. They wanted it more than we did. Hopefully we make the playoffs and we both win the first round and meet again.

 

Seemed the same as the Central game, we failed to capitalize when we dominated the first quarter and then it was North's game from there.

 

Still not all that impressed with Dalton. He had 3 good runs tonight. RD Reynolds did more to beat us tonight than Cissell did, but hats off Dalton got his yards.

Wow -- I'm not only surprised at the winner, but most assuredly the outcome!

 

What does this do to the district seedings with Doss, NB, and BE all at 5-3? Who gets the short straw and the end of their season?

If Doss did indeed lose then I believe North is the 3 seed and East is the 4 seed and Doss is out.

Yeah looks like we are out, not sure how a tie breaker would work if Valley somehow found a way to lose to Waggoner.

Tried to tell you that North wasn't a one-man show as you claimed and that Reynolds would be the difference. If you weren't impressed with Cissell then you were in the minority. Made big runs when needed in horrible conditions. Over 2,000 yards for the year! I'll take that any day. East put up a good fight but there was little doubt that North was better at most positions.

Cissell is great as a sophomore. He'd be decent as the senior he is supposed to be. Reynolds won that game for you not Cissell. There was a lot of doubt that North was better at most positions.

 

The breaks fell your way and I congratulate you. We'll see you next year and start a new winning streak.

He and Cissell are the 2 best offensive players in the county and will return next year when North will have 17 of 22 starting positions the same. Couple that with North's freshman team that won district and it looks like things might be turning North. East had a GREAT run vs. North, but like East's string of playoff appearances, its over.

They have only missed the playoff twice since 1991. They missed in 1996 & 1997. For what its worth, the next season they rebounded and lost to Caldwell County in the state semifinals. Maybe that can happen for Bullitt East next year.

Well good luck with that next season. You are really excited over a mediocre 7-3 season and a 4 seed in the playoffs with the other 3 seeds going 3-0 against you.

 

East on the other hand is dissappointed with their mediocre season in which we went 2-1 against those same 3 teams.

 

You have scoreboard for this year so enjoy it.

Not excited about 7-3 when we know we could have easily been 9-1. If North played Valley and Doss ten times each, North would win 8 or 9 of them each. Credit those teams for playing good games when North did not play like they did in their 7 victories. We are excited that North's convincing defeat of East has the Chargers turning in their equipment Monday. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid they serve over in the Mount and keep telling yourself everything will be alright next year. Hopefully, you all got mighty Nelson County off your schedule so you can get off to a better start next year.:laugh:

I see you guys win with the same class you lose with ... you may have won last week but you still have to go back to North Bullitt so you lose in the end either way.. 0-3 against the other playoff teams ...

 

Think you'd beat Doss and Valley 8 or 9 times out of 10. Sort of like East has North Bullitt huh?

 

Like I said you got scoreboard this year so congrats on your win and your mediocre season you are so proud of. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then, but in the end the same squirrel ends up squashed in the road.

 

Your season lasted one week longer than ours did Congrats.

Great win for the North Bullitt program. This win will be a huge "mental hurdle" for the players and community. Have to give credit where credit is due. The Eagles played Central (which is who they play this Friday night) as close as anyone with the exception of Waggener. I like their chances in a second game with the Yellowjackets!

 

This school now has possession of the district basketball crown and the "County Cup" in football. They really have made some progress in the past few years.
