This is probably the most exciting race in the state this year. These are the current standings:

2. Valley 6-1, 4-1 at Doss

3. Doss 4-3, 4-1 vs Valley

4. Bullitt East 5-3, 4-2 Open

5. Fairdale 4-4, 3-3 vs North Bullitt

6. North Bullitt 4-3, 2-3 at Fairdale

7. Waggener 3-4, 1-4 at Atherton

8. Jeffersontown 2-6, 1-5 vs Central

9. Atherton 0-7, 0-5 vs Waggener

 

Currently 6 teams are in the playoff hunt. No one is guaranteed a spot yet, Central can with a win Friday. It may take until week 10 to decide the other three spots.

Great race. My opinions list below.

 

1) you have to figure Central will beat Doss

 

2) loser of Fairdale, N. Bullitt game pretty much out of it

 

3) N. Bullitt has a good shot with Fairdale, Atherton and BE left

 

4) figuring point #1, BE and Valley control their own destiny for the #2 spot.

 

5) Central is the favorite for sure to come out of the region but it won't be easy for them.

So 3 way tie between Waggener, Doss and N. Bullitt with them all 1-1 against each other. Not sure what the tiebreaker is after that.
