There are shooting coaches in the NBA but I don't know of any in the college game. Macy has a lot contacts, knows what it takes to win, (I believe he was just a little instrumental in the success of the '78 Wildcats) and did a decent job at Morehead. He got caught with a bunch of freshamn due to graduation and injuries in his last year. At a mid-major you're always going to struggle with freshman.

Why wouldn't Coach G consider adding Kyle Macy to his staff or is he?

Definitely believe. When my Grandmother was in the hospital she told my cousin that she was going to be going soon. She really wasn't that sick, so my cousin says " How do you know?" My Grandmother tells her " don't you see Aunt Ellie (who had been dead for 5 years) and your mother ( my cousin's mother, who had been dead for 8 years, my grandmother's daughter) waiting for me at the end of the bed...................My Grandmother died that evening after all of her living kids could come tell her goodbye.

Maybe it is the fact that the women's team, the football team and any other team at UK will ALWAYS be 2nd to men's basketball. She came from a place (UT) that the womens team was #1 and the women's coaches were paid the same or better.

You wonder about a place called Lexington CHRISTIAN and the way that Ralph Sallee was treated. Not that Jason Seamonds is a bad guy, but you have to wonder about the administration.

Saw A.J. Stewart play at Lex. Catholic over Christmas and wasn't impressed. Novosel made him look less than average.

If high school sports are supposed to be for the benefit of young people and not adults, then a class system is the only fair way for all young people. I've coached at big schools and small schools. The only way for a small school to compete is to recruit. The KHSAA makes it so that if small schools want to compete they must stretch the rules to do so. All you have to do is look back a few years as to the rise of Lexington Catholic Sports. They were a doormat until Danny Haney and Father Bueter decided that sports would be good for the growth of the school. They did everything within the rules and now are hard to beat. Adults that are for one system are simply selfish and don't have young peoples interests in their ideas.
