  8. Minor league baseball is where all the good nicknames reside. They have some wild ones! If I recall correctly ESPN identified some of the best high school nicknames a while back and number one on the list was Poca High School in West Virginia. Their nickname - Dots. Poca Dots. Their mascot is a big ole dot.
  9. The last time I watched a football game at McCreary Central (been a few years) they had about 22 players out on their team. Then at halftime 3-4 of them stayed out on the field and performed with the band. Needless to say the football was bad! Glad to see they have turned the corner and have a good thing going.
  10. They better not be looking to the Lone Oak game, at least not looking forward to it. The way Lone Oak throws the ball around and scores points, that could be a long night for Green County.

  15. As soon as Campbellsville gets behind they just throw in the towel. They lack toughness and if Lynn Camp can land the first punch they will roll in this one. I will say Lynn Camp wins it by two touchdowns.

  18. Should be a dandy game. I'll go with the Dragons on their home field and say they win it 34-28.

  24. Garrard scored 41 on Estill. That bodes well for Somerset. Briar Jumpers roll in this one and get some revenge.
  25. I think it will be a little closer than most of you expect. No doubt Monroe will win, but I look for Logan to stay close for awhile.
