This is the football ratings, the headline says boys basketball ratings, but it is footabll.

I think whoever wins MR. Basketball this year will truely be a great player, afterall look at the competion he will have beat. I think there are alot of deserving individuals and just getting your name mentioned should equal success in my book.

I can give this some merit, since afterall Lofton already has his Mr. B-ball title. Jon F. is a great player and I enjoy watching him play. I wish luck to every team this post-season and hope the best make to Sat. morning.

What year did Dale F. graduate? I assume he is dad to Jon and Shae? What were his point totals?

Never in High school. a T is always always the ball and two shots. In the case of a double T on two players then no shots and point of interruption, the team with the ball gets it back.

Dont know much about the individuals on these teams, but does strike me as a little bit out of place if you will.... Not too sure what to think of the national ratings...

A referee can only add time on the clock when he or she knows absolutely for sure how much time needs added, and only then. A ref cannot just guess and make up such a time, if he or she is a good ref, then they will only add under these circumstances.

You must keep good notes during the game. Must be hard to watch, cheer and keep notes..

Right, if they go to court and obtain a court order. I don't think that was followed in this case. I am refering to the ACLU only as a reference point. The KHSAA mandates that student/atheletes have due process and that their rights are not violated. It sounds in this case that the student/athelete's rights were being played with. AGREE???

Yes I agree with you on that, however in a case like that ie... drugs or weapons the expulsion from their own school cannot exceed one year. This case involved none of these, no injuries no criminal report, no criminal actions committed by the student.. to my knowledge anyone no for sure????

This is correct, another difference is the coach has to sit down in High School, but college they can still stand up and coach.. interesting.........

I dont think you understand. Every game played in the state of KY has everything to do with the KHSAA-- period. Both coaches were aware of the situation, and the S/A has apoligized in person and in writing. Sounds to me that the administration attempting to ban may be incompetent to administrate??

So the sheriff trumps the ACLU, or any other group. The law is very powerful don't get me wrong, however you cannot deny someone, especially a student/athelete his or hers due process. It is that simple. Neither the sheriff nor the school administration has the authority to do ban a player.

I agree you could even say since 1998 talent has went down. Scott Co. won the title, and had at least 2 D-I players on that team. And they did not win it easy.

How many D-I players are there. And how many have there been in the past? Would be interesting to know this!!

I would say yes, over the past few years, it has dropped with the exception of a few great teams that could have played with all the others. But as a whole the talent level has dropped big time.

If Allen would have been a senior last year, then you would probably have a legitimate arguement for Mr. Basketball 2005, It might be safe to say he was a better player last year. I didn't see much improvement
