Russell 62 Boyd 54 Russell will allow Boyd to stay in it to long & make to much of a close contest with it as they do in all their games. Boyd will most likely lead for a while if not most of the game as most other teams do against Russsell before they put them away in a close one.

Wow ! starting with Friday the 5th thru Sat the 13th Elliott will have 5 games in 8 days! Not to mention they have a home game on the 12th then have to drive 3 plus hours to play this caliber of team at 12:15 Sat the 13th. Would have like to see how they could do on fresh legs against S. Charleston. Then throw this in they play Fairview in the "ALL A" Monday the 15th!! How could they have any gas in the tank for the next couple of games in the All A in they make it that far?

Greene has a swollen knee, Maynard was at the emergency room yesterday after taking a fall in practice on a collar bone he broke as a fresman. Do not know how much if any, each situation played into the lineup change. The 2 new starters played really well tonight as well as Maynard and whoever else Elliott put in the game. Everyone for Elliott played hard & it looked like the Elliott of old.

I would go with Elliott above Boyd (they did beat Boyd at Boyd) and also put East & Greenup ahead of Rowan at this time.

The Morgan Co. PA is so bad I prefer not to hear it. The guy at Elliott is doing a great job.

Miller needs to be more aggressive & demanding of the ball especially in crucial times. He dominated both ends the 2-3 minutes of the game then almost disappeared

From the Line scores in the paper Belfry did not have an answer for McDavid. Though Belfry has a big strong kid in May who plays fullback & LB in football. Their 2 gaurd is Jamie Case a very nice & smart player

Sportsfan I saw the same thing & your comment is true the kid was more open & closer as the ball went completely to the other side of the court in heavier traffic. However, its hard to believe this was intentional, maybe the passer just did not see him at that time. Anyway arguing at times is not unusual at any level of basketball it just needs to be corrected if it is constant. Just as you say I think Elliott will be fine.
