It sounded like Elliott played a very good game.

 

Ferguson had 19

Ethan Faulker had 18 and 15 rebounds according to the Radio.

 

Elliott also had 2 new starters tonight Chris Knipp and Jonathan Morgan.

What has happenend to greene and maynard. i love the way maynard shoots the three and spaces the floor.

Ferguson was an animal tonight.

 

Pressure defense by Elliott held East to 14% shooting in the first half, Elliott shot 55%. Ethan Faulkner was Mr Windex, grabbing just about every rebound that was near him. Well officiated game, pretty good sportsmanship (for the most part) on both sides.

Maynard played well, Greene never got in the game. Don't know if he was hurt or what. He warmed up with the team, but never got in. Maynard had 12 points.

Looks like the Elliott boys missed playing ball over the break

I don't know what happened. But, Maynard was 2 for 3 from beyond the arc, making him shooting 43% for the year, and had 7 rebounds.

East was led by Drew Johnson 16 points...Burge had an off night, one three pointer I believe.

Greene has a swollen knee, Maynard was at the emergency room yesterday after taking a fall in practice on a collar bone he broke as a fresman. Do not know how much if any, each situation played into the lineup change. The 2 new starters played really well tonight as well as Maynard and whoever else Elliott put in the game. Everyone for Elliott played hard & it looked like the Elliott of old.

Anytime a team has a long layoff, there is the old question, "Will they be rested or rusty?" No rust on the Lions tonight. They played very well. East looked tired to me, maybe I am fooled by that, but they just weren't sharp at all. Good to see a big crowd from Elliott there, saw a lot of friends I hadn't seen in a while. Good crowd from East as well.

You have to give alot of credit to Evan Faulkner for Burge having an off night. Evan gave no breathing room for Burge all night who finished with 10 points but 2 came off techinal foul shots. Evan also had 10 points and 7 rebounds.

You are right. As I stated earlier, great defense tonight by the Lions. Burge did have a couple of open looks and couldn't get them to fall early. But there was some great D played out there tonight by Elliott

Can someone from East tell me how Kyle Bair is playing?
