I made a committ about 2 posts, I didnt lump nothing or anybody just another example of making something look different than what it is. Or to get in a dig then call it a joke. I think my radar is set the same place most other peoples are in the region. Good luck to ya.

I disagree on your commit about respect, a few years ago Phil Pratt had a 5 win season, while that team might not have been respected the program and coach Pratt were not thought any less of. Two years after you win a region or have a successfull season no one remembers anyway. Its all about respect, so if Boyd loses tomorrow night I dont think coach Pratt or his program will be thought any less of. Win or lose Boyd is very fortunate to have Coach Pratt at the helm, he teaches lifes lessons first and winning second. I may be the only person that feels this way but I never had more respect for any program than Rose Hill back when they were getting beat badly every night 10 years ago. You knew what they stood for and if you didnt admire it you were a fool. Tommy Holbrook the 1st player to ever recieve a basketball scholarship from Rose Hill is one of my dearest friends,so no I think there is more to respect than you give it credit for. I honestly dont think some people will ever get over those lean years Rose Hill had in the beginning, but what they dont realize is that was when you were the envy of everybody else.

Fairview is a talented young team that is going to get better every game and they have an exceptional leader in Barker,great coaches,and they are at home. They scouted the Russell game and Im sure they will be prepared with an excellent game plan. Plus Boyd is coming off an emoitional win against Russell and you have to guard against a letdown, that is why I agree with Tiny Boyd would be lucky to win by 7. We respect Fairview. But that being said you must think Rose Hill is a far superior team than Boyd because they can survive a Barker on nite but Boyd cannot, and if thats your view on things your intitled to it, then comes another post that Boyd will score a 100pts. another jab from another Rose Hill supporter. Will Boyd win the region this year probably not, will they be the door mat of the region definetly not, do you guys ever slow down long enough to realize why your school is not respected more within the region? Give it and you will get it.

Who was Rose Hills quality win within the region against?

Probably because Elliott Co. has lost to Raceland who has 9 loses & East Carter who has 7 loses, and Ashland is to good to lose a home game to anybody within this region on their home floor after they were beaten by that team.

Boyd was down 3 with about a minute and a half to go, as Tiny said the game was much closer than the final score.

Definitely not Boyd they dont even have a top 15 player in the region, just 2 scrub hold over starters and 3 JV players from last years team in their starting lineup.:banana:

Boyd won by 11 after getting behind 11-0.

Is he a power pitcher or just a good pitcher who hits spots? Have heard alot about him just have never had the chance to see him pitch.

Boyd Co. and Russell will go at it on Friday. Any thoughts or predictions about this game?

What kind of team does South Laurel have this year? I think they host the section 8 tournament.

I think coach Biggs is going to make Ashland a great coach works his tail off during games, I have seen Ashland play 3 times this year 2 loses and 1 win and I dont see anything that would suggest that his style is any more uptempo than most other teams. Unless its just happened to be the games I have saw. I have noticed teams equal to or slightly better than them are lower scoring games, I just dont see this run and gun everybody is talking about.

I think overall the Ref's in the 16th have done a great job this season, and its basically the same guys we have always had. We are quick to point out their faults so I think they need a pat on the back when they deserve it.

Congrats to Ashland for having Boyd in the A.I.T. they should play in each others tournys each year. They have not played in it since the early 90"s. This has got to be a plus in the old bank book, and it brings up the possible 4th meeting between the schools in a year. If you ask each one of these kids there is no other team they would rather play.:ylsuper:
