Mason Dixon Games

The M-D games used to be a big deal, but seems to have lost some luster. Billed as the "state indoor track championships", but the number of indoor track meets in KY can pretty much be counted on one hand.

 

I've attended as a spectator for the past several years, I've noticed that there always seem to be issues; especially counting laps.

 

I'll probably go again this year; will anyone else attend as a spectator, coach or participant?

Is Friday "middle school day"?

Middle school and some open /masters events earlier in the day.

I nave attended last 3 years and have enjoyed it. Good event to get your kid's minds back on track.

Wheres this held at?

Usually held at Broadbent Arena at the Fairgounds in Louisville. Class A and Class AA alternate between 8:00 and noon every other year; Class AAA meet is at 4:00PM every year (at least for the last 4 or 5 years it's been that way).

I'll be there as a spectator...always a good meet to kick the season off...and it's really hard to have an indoor season with so many restrictions...i.e. can't participate against unattatched teams/individuals...at least as a school...and not many places to host indoor meets...in this state anyway...
