Boyd just came off a stretch were they played 8 out of their last 10 on the road, against some good teams. And did lose several much like Ashland did early in the season when they were playing alot of road games. When you looked at Boyds schedule you knew this would be a tough stretch. These are still the same kids that beat Ashland,Russell, and had Elliott on the ropes. If your flat out 20pts better than another team home court is not going to matter, if your close it means alot, expecially this year.

Man they are so famous they ought to have their own special section to set in for district tourny. Tell them if they open their mouths twice really quick I promise their ears WILL pop.

Congrats to Russell, game went about as expected. Russell simply wanted this one more than Boyd did. Remember Branham hitting a 3 pointer early in the game to give Boyd a lead,(box score a little messed up) not sure how many he had. Both he and Selby battling the flu and it showed in their play.

Wanting to avenge their only region loss of the year and being at home you have to figure Russell by about 7 or 8. As far as shutting down Selby I just cant see it. And if they expend a lot of effort to stop Branham from 20 feet out look for Blanton to have a big night from 10 feet. Both Branham and Blanton seldom have big nights on the same night, they are good at taking what the defense is willing to give up.

Boyd put in a new infield last year, and it wasnt really ready to play on. It should be really nice this year. I also hear they are putting in one of those monsterous score boards this year.

It takes a majority vote to get it changed 50/50 keeps it the same. Dont look for it to ever change. Boyd or Fairview must have voted for it also.
