I got this one....."NEVER".... I said it....Russell will embarrass Ashland this year, especially since Ashland beat them last time. There is no comparing two college teams with these two high school teams...Plain and simple....Russell by as many as "Ivan" wants....

That pretty much sums this one up....Russell by as many as Ivan wants. I wouldnt be suprised if Russell breaks 50.......

I agree with you on Crisp, but he has a seperated shoulder. DOnt know if he will be in the lineup friday night. Hope he is though....That could be the deciding factor on Win or loss

Boyd has lost two very tough games. I think the offense is gearing up to explode and its going to happen friday. I look for Crisp to play hurt and run up some yards. Boyd just has to stick to the same game plan for four quarters to secure the win. Boyd 24 Pike Central 13

I would say Breathitt is a litle tougher. The can pass well, run well, and have some players that will run over you or around you. They do have the total package. Only thing I saw that I did not like was all the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.There were a few, not only on players, but coaches as well.

Crisp played the first half, then was complaining of not beng able to lift his arm and numbness. SHoulder seperated....... Boyd has got to learn that there is four quarters...not two. Seemed to me llike they had two different schemes of offense from first half to second half...tough loss to a big Breathitt team. Zac Wilson carried the load tonight...great job Zac....And Big Drew Moore and Opell from the defense side played well.

As I said before....Jones knocked Selby down......"with a Russell defender wrapped around his legs." I know its tough sometimes, but lets tell the entire story. Not enough to make something out of nothing. Not arguing with anyone, just saying "state the facts"- Jones is a great athelte-fact. Selby is a beast- Fact. Russell was suppossed to win "BIG"-Fact.

You need to read what prompted the response from me. I only said that Jones did not knock Selby on his butt-ONE on ONE, like the post said. I spoke the truth- Saw the play got pics of the play, and also happen to have one of Jones on Selby's back trying to tackle him before Selby carried him out of bounds. Not trying to argue, but facts are facts. These two line up one on one and Jones hits Selby head to head.......Selby wins 9 out of 10 times. IMO- Jones is an awesome athelete from both sides of the ball. Not taking anything away from him. Just proving a point on a post from a Russell fan not speaking the facts.

Truth???? Watch the films. I was 50 ft from the play and know what took place. Jones is an awesome player, but to say he knocked Selby on the butt one on one is far from the truth.

I heard several mention how nice the sound system was. Just wish we could have all our games on the radio to listen to them too. Was this some of your fine work STORMIE????

Saw the play you are talking about. Selby was hung up with another Russell defender around the legs, and turned into Jones. Jones hit Selby and knocked him backwards over the other Russell defender. I was 50 feet from the play, saw it all. There is no way Jones is going to "Knock him on his butt" straight up. EXAMPLE#1- I was standing right next to the sideline when Selby caught the short pass from Wilson and ran over two Russell players, before carrying Jones on his back for 7 yards and going out of bounds.....Straight up one on one....Selby wins everytime.
