Breathiitt and their defense started out of the gate slow tonight but got things going later in the 2nd quarter. I don't think that Breathitt expected Boyd to pass the ball like they did going into the game. If this team can learn to play a full 4 quarters, then there is no telling how good they could be. Still a good effort from a young team that has a lot of different looks on offense.

Breathitt was a pretty decent team..That had some good looking athletes and some good size, but Boyd by no means proved how good they were. We could go on for a while, but the only statement that I am gonna make is you cant take the Best RB in the area (Gatlin Barker) and not give him the ball for 15 straight plays in the second half..That is crazy.

Congrats to B-County on what sounds a very tough win.

Ryan Crisp shoulder injury was huge on both sides of the ball. I think he only played the 1st quarter. Not sure if Boyd had anything for Breathitt Co. though.. very nice team.

Crisp played the first half, then was complaining of not beng able to lift his arm and numbness. SHoulder seperated....... Boyd has got to learn that there is four quarters...not two. Seemed to me llike they had two different schemes of offense from first half to second half...tough loss to a big Breathitt team. Zac Wilson carried the load tonight...great job Zac....And Big Drew Moore and Opell from the defense side played well.

Crisp is one of the best in the area. Hope hes back next week. He is a huge part of Boyd's offense and defense.

Not sure if i have ever seen a game called like this one,but i must say it was a very intresting game Breathitt Co.started slow and was strong at the end,I was impressed with what i seen of Crisp,he got some good licks and then he wasn't in ,he will have to take lots hits like that if he goes to next level,The Big Tight End for Boyd Co.(#81)was impressive ,seems like they should have went to him more, good road win for Breathitt Bobcats, Chris Jackson #4 ran ball well...Go Bobcats....

Number 81 is Selby. IMO he needs to be a bigger (no pun intended) part of the offense for Boyd Co. as well. Crisp to me is the engine that makes Boyd Co. run. If he doesn't play Boyd is not the same team.

Boyd Co is a team that should get better every week. They have the skill players but need a young group of lineman to grow up in hurry. Russell controlled the los against them and it sound like Breathitt did too.

I would say Breathitt is a litle tougher. The can pass well, run well, and have some players that will run over you or around you. They do have the total package. Only thing I saw that I did not like was all the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.There were a few, not only on players, but coaches as well.

^I agree with that. Russell was not impressive against Boyd Co at all. They did move the ball well but mistakes, silly penalties and miscues on defense outshined many of the positives.

Boyd looks good sometimes and bad the next. I think they really miss the coaches that left in the offseason, I can tell a difference in the linemen from the past few seasons to this season, I know they are young but they lost a great oline coach.
