What would make you think this? You must have something to give you that opinnion? Ill spell out my oppinion on why Estill should win. The crusaders cant match up. They have no one that can defend Dixon. He will be able to run at will and create plays for hot shooters in Reese, Puckett, and Christopher. Look for swing man Berryman to be back in full swing and shooting lights out as well. Estill has too many weapons. They are a seasoned team - and they are all enjoying themselves late in the season. I don't see Stepp getting into any real rhythm tomorrow night? Estill will shut him down much the way they did Tyler Rich Friday night - but unlike the bobcats - the Crusaders dont have much firepower to counter. If Estill comes up with an early lead and dont take their foot off the gas - it could very well be JBS getting routed.

What cost them the game with Hazard? I've read that Hicks had a poor game - and typically the bulldogs go as Hicks goes.

JBS will have to make it past Estill tomorrow night if they are going to worry about going to Rupp - and quite frankly - I dont think they can do it.

The train music has been around for a few years now - and its really what makes an Estill game - an Estill game. From the way the bell (which is frequently played by the band director) to the drums, etc....it really is my favorite intro....and would be if I wasnt speaking with any bias. I also liked thunderstruck by Lee County. Forgive me for going off topic. :lol:

So what do we know about the Eagles? Im quite familiar with the bobcats but as of yet know nothing about Leslie. Any one know what their strenths and weaknesses are?

Fair enough. That would not be too huge a shock to me....but still, if a team can get past Pendelton in the semis...I wouldnt put money on them losing to Mason in the final.

Discussions on how the two teams have played this year and how that will affect there game Monday night is a very valid area of dicussion.

That may have been one of the dumbest things - I have ever read. First of all - we havent had any players quit and come back and quit and come back. Owsley had a player that wasnt elligble til January and there was some problems with Neeley late in the season there. And what do you mean by playng Riverside will humble you down? If by that you mean playing cupcake teams so that you can boost win columns and stats - I'll take your word on that....JBS seems to have be well practiced in that philosophy.

I am going to go with Clark County in this one. If they get past Pendelton - I dont see them losing to anyone in the lower bracket.

I'm not sure if YOU are aware of THIS - but there is a lot more to be learned in losing games to Flordia's 6th ranked team in Flordia or Hazard at memorial gym in OT than in beating Riverside by 60 a couple times.

Smith didnt play the first game, but he was back for the 2nd.

Oh dont worry....I'm sure JBS will load up on "cupcakes." Estill has most certaintly NOT played an easy schedule. Clark Co, Hazard, Florida Columbia, Memphis Wooddale, Dunbar, Madison Southern. No where in there will you find Riverside (once or twice), David School, or OBI.

I see that JBS lost to Owsley - a team Estill beat 96-58 and 73-49.

I sure wouldnt want to play Lee period. They are probably the best team in the 14th region. Lee takes this one but in a close game.

I would love to see Wolfe beat Hazard again. Would be great for Estill if we get by JBS.

I know one thing...whoever survives the Lee/Leslie game is going to be heavily relieved to have one of these two teams waiting on them Friday night.

I hate to break it to you, Uk - but youre going to be in for a huge suprise. Estill will be traveling very well - dont worry about that. Estill has played a very hard schedule this year and is well tuned for region play - while the crusaders has wasted their time with Riverside and David School. I think the exact opposite - Estill will have no problem with JBS. Estill's senior leadership is peaking at the perfect time in Clinton Dixon, Jesse Puckett, and Stuart Reese, and younger guards Blake Christopher and Cody Berryman have proved all year long that they can contribute in huge ways. Estill has a slew of role players on the bench including freshmen sensations Tristan Cackling and Chris Hoover and senior Zack Regan who all played huge roles in the win over Jackson City. Estill has proved that they can beat or play with the best in the region while JBS has proved that they can beat...Riverside....and lose to Owsley.

I wouldnt mind that one bit. lol

What a game here opening the 14th Region tournament. This is a complete toss up - but I think Lee will take this one by a bucket or two.

Hazard is heavily favored in this 14th region opening round game - and I dont see Gilbert and Stamper doing anything to prove that favoring wrong. Hazard big. Your thoughts?
