  1. So, he will not be available for the KOB and the LexCath tournaments?
  2. Correct! My mind said NCKC game, but my dumb hands typed District seed game.
  3. Sorry, didn’t intend to impede on your impressive opinion. What I was trying to say, was the game was fairly close for 3.5 quarters, although WV was probably in control the whole game. As far as your participation trophy.......go study proctology.
  4. Just curious.....with athletes like Miles, Clinkenbeard, Stanley, and Lay....why are WV just playing spot to spot on offense?
  5. Congrats to Coach Jones and his team. They will definitely be a factor in the 8th, perhaps while being slightly under the radar, which they will use to their advantage.
  6. What everyone seems to forget: WV is not known for lighting up the scoreboard, which they might do when Stanley gets healthy, if Coach Brannen lets his athletes be athletes. WV’s calling card is defense. Their perimeter players can pressure shooters, without fear of getting beat off the dribble, due to having Clinkenbeard and Miles length to alter and block shots. Kids in today’s game either look to shoot the three, or get all the way to the rim......Bad recipe against a team built like WV. Unless you can get WV in foul trouble, and/or learn to hit mid range jumpers, WV will be extremely tough to beat.
  7. I believe Krueger played at Northeastern University, until knee issues cut her career short.
  8. Carroll County Pam Browning (late 70’s) UK Kelly Mazza 1988 Bradley University Sonya Beeler 1988 Bradley University
  9. Do over: Donna Jett 1976 Morehead State Leigh Ann Dunlap 1976 TN Tech Marcia Haney Dunaway 1981 EKU
  10. Not my school, but Trimble County has two that I know of: Marcia Haney Dunaway 1981 Leigh Ann Dunlap 1976
  11. Walton Verona will be hard to score against.
  12. I have a marvelous idea. I say we let parents choose what is best for their child.
  13. It does happen, but there is nothing binding about it. It is a verbal agreement between two parties, that either can back out of at any time.
  14. Nope. College coaches are not interested in watching gifted players succeed against non gifted players. Much easier to judge talent when it is competing against similar talent.
  15. Good player, going to be very good. At times he will possibly be the best player on the floor. But, please let the young man develop, instead of feeding him to the hype machine. He needs to develop at his pace, not the one you fantasize about. Saw him play a little bit in the WV/SK matchup in the District tournament last year. I like his game.
  16. He doesn't quite understand that all thoughts are not meant to be heard.
  17. One has a D1 offer to Army I believe. Miles is a 16 year old Junior that will have several D1 offers.
  18. I should mention that all of the players mentioned are fine players. But, the big man comparison is not even remotely close. The guard comparison is more comparable, but WV guards are better.
