Ryle has the advantage through the Districts IF they win the first game, which I think they will having already seen Holahan. Conner will be short on pitching after the St. Henry game while Ryle will have Seabald, Renda, Lovan, Donavan and O'Hara ready. Ryle takes the same road as last year and beats Boone, then Conner to win the District.

Don't know if he kicks the ball around the infield ALL the time, like I said I only saw him play twice. Lloyd game he had 3 errors in the first inning, didn't get to Ryle until the 5th inning and he only had one opportunity and he booted that.

Saw the Jones kid play for the second time this year. Still kicking the ball aroung the infield pretty much...but I don't think defense is a consideration for POY.

Gloveman has a valid point. The mild mannered Coach Nally never gets upset. But with 2 on and 2 out and a flyball hit to right field, it sure upset him to see the baserunners trotting around the bases. As a player, you're allowed to be disappointed or down, but how about a little hustle during the play, you can show you're disappointment later. Apparently, judging by Coach Nally's reaction, this is the lesson that has been preached at Ryle forever. Seems to be falling on deaf ears this year. And Cooperstown is right, this is not a problem at Ryle alone.

Camels haven't beat Ryle in four or five years....no fluke. and the tradition continues.

If Campbell plays like they did at Ryle they sure won't have to worry about Districts.

I guess when you're getting wooped on by a struggling team you might be a little bitter. Guess that's why the Campbel coach kept stahling, walking in to beg the home plate ump to stop the game, going out to the mound, working the field ump to end the game....the runs may not count, but they were scored.

Dead ball when it hit his foot but obviously Blue thought it was a swing and a miss...so yes, you would have to throw to first.

Bases loader, no outs, pop up in front of the shortstop on the dirt, Blue yells INFIELD FLY right away....SS loses the ball in the sun and it hits the ground. Who gets the Put Out ? Never saw this happen....but what if....

Yep...talked him Friday night at Champions, he says he might have a torn muscel in the back of his sholder. He is supposed to have it looked at this week.
