Wolverines Will Not Campagin For A Spot
sixtyfeetsix replied to gametime's topic in College Football
There is no way that Florida can beat OSU. If you want to make a game out of it, and draw some ratings out of the game it should be the rematch...OSU vs Michigan. It will be a good game and people will watch that game. Florida can not hang with Ohio State. It will get ugly... -

Great job Owls, and Trey and Adam are two of my favorites from the baseball team. Those two would do anything you ask of them and never complain. Great kids! -
Best Coach in NKY - Who is it?
sixtyfeetsix replied to nkyhomebb's topic in KY Baseball (High School)
I was a pitcher, but that didn't matter. Bob would tell us (entire team) to start running and he would go home, change clothes and finally come back just in time to hit "missles" at us on the gym floors. He only had one rule when he hit ground balls. Bob's Rule - If you miss the ball, DO NOT turn around. Well, people did and needless to say they now have stories to tell on why their noses are not straight. And when Bob's watch came off...Good luck......Fun stuff.... -
Best Coach in NKY - Who is it?
sixtyfeetsix replied to nkyhomebb's topic in KY Baseball (High School)
I would say that Northern Ky is blessed with some great coaches, but I know that Bob Myerhoff knows the game of baseball and I would have to give him my vote. I am a little biased since I once played for him. Even though he made me run WAY too much:sssh: , he still gets my vote. -
Where are they this election year?

You are so right about this!! It is a shame the Democrats are like that, but the truth is the truth!! -
Neeley ruled eligible for Owen County.
sixtyfeetsix replied to The Professor's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Outstanding baseball player too. I will be calling Owen Counties baseball coach ASAP. The kid is extremely smart about both baseball and basketball. I'm glad to hear he is back into sports. I was concerned that he may have been "burned out". -
I can not wait, until this election is over.......
sixtyfeetsix replied to Theoldguy's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
I like to watch candidates spend money and them get the snot beat out of them. They buy all of these nice big signs and plaster their faces all over them and still get whipped up on in the election. FUNNY STUFF. I guess they have the money to blow.....wonder where they get the money??? I even hear candidates saying that others are trying to use there money to bully the other candidates around and then the candidate that does the accusing spends 10 times the money of the other candidate. Explain that one to me?? I will be glad when it is over too. -
Perkins from Lee County gets my vote

Who is the best QB in the state?
sixtyfeetsix replied to Rebel5050's topic in KY Football (High School)
Who is he interested in playing for in College. Anyone know?? -
What is the date of this match-up??
-
Estill County does have some good hitter's. They will be the team to beat in the 56th district. I don't think Lee County can beat them, especially with the loss of most of their team.
-
Trey Congleton from Owsley has some power, and if he has "bulked" up any over this last year, he could hit quite a few "dingers". I think teams now know he can hit, so he probably won't get too many good pitches.

Best College Prospect in the 14region

The thing I love about basketball in the mountains is how the people get into it so much. It is an awesome enviroment to be in, especially in a game between two big rivals...ex..Owsley vs Lee. People get crazy over basketball. I actually like to watch the fans reactions. I'll tell you this, the referee's do not make even close to enough money for calling games. They get talked to pretty bad sometimes. -

Some do, some may not. I just think that the talent level is a lot better in the cities. That is just one man's opinion...nothing to down grade anyone. I think people get carried away, especially when they start talking about DI players. -

I think a lot of people need to get out of the mountains and head to a game in Lexington and Louisville, to watch a real basketball game. Then they will see for themselves some true Div 1 prospects. -

There is no way, no way, that June Buchanan has 3 Div I players. They will be lucky to make it to Div III. Come on....I will admit they have talent, but they do not have Div I talent. Boy, I can't wait to see them just rip right through the 14th region...:irked: -
14th Region Who to looks to make noise?
sixtyfeetsix replied to Get Off The Track's topic in KY Baseball (High School)
Estill County will be the team to beat. Not sure what Powell lost, but Estill only lost one off of a pretty good team. -
Owsley's Neeley transfers.
sixtyfeetsix replied to The Professor's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
If he doesn't get involved in sports, I can see bad things happening. He is a good kid, but when kids have too much time on their hands they tend to get into a lot of trouble. New area, trying to prove your coolness to others, etc..I hope not for Daniel's sake. -

I haven't seen anyone in the 14th that can play in Division I basketball. There are several who may be able to play Div II, or NAIA ball. It takes someone special to make it to a DI basketball program. -
How many schools have started this school year WITHOUT a baseball coach??
