Walton is coming off a very emotinal lose to Gallatin and I hope they do not over look Grant. But with that said I think Walton by ten.

I do need to apolgize for talking about my time I got carried away with the whole thing and the attacks on me. I agree this has the making of a huge riviraly over the rest of the year. As for Jones he was the best shooter last year but he really has not performed this year at all. He looks lost on defense and has not been willing to take his shoot when it is open. If you ask me I think he is in his own head and trying to hard. With Daugherty I think if Walton is going anywhere this year he will have to carry them. He is the captian and the leader. On a side note I did not see the gesture by the fans, but when did they start letting the fans stand right on the sidelines like that. They did the same thing at henry the other night and one player went for the ball and a fan knocked it away and nothing was said. Then another player fell into them and I believe a little girl got hurt.

I just won 5 dollers two because I knew that the Gallatin fans would come on here and say the refs where great (54 free throws to 30 seems fair). Daugherty did not cuss a ref walking off the floor I sat right behind the bench I would have noticed. Lets not forget that it is Gallatin Co. more then anything the lose is embarising. When I was in school a lost to Gallatin was unaccabtible. If you say the refs had no effect on the game you was not there. As for ms football who cares and academic team really who cares. Don't forget you still have to play Walton two more times this year the outcome will be different. Plus 81 shutup twenty of it was on the JV team. Mark my words on this one take it to the bank Gallatin is not as good as you think they are.

I can agree with you on that point. next time they play Walton is going to have to play a more half court offense and look to get the ball inside more. In the fourth they seemed to just give up on good shots and throwing up threes. But you also have to realize in the fourth there was already two starters fouled out, and three more main players with four. So Walton had to play there JV team most of the fourth.

And by the way 44 was the coolest head on the court actually took time to talk to the refs and try to explain instead of crying and wining. Gallatin players should of had about three T and that is being on the light side of things. By the end of the game 44 had been fouled so much and ignored in his pleas for some help from the refs there was nothing left to do but yell. If you did not see that you where not watching the game.

Walton did start the second half off bad but lets not kid are selfs when Daugherty had the ball on the block in the third he was getting the crap kicked out of him but no calls and on the other side of the court touch fouls. And remember even with all that Walton still cut the lead to nine. Gallatin is a decent team they are not that much better then Walton and keep saying scoreboard scoreboard, but if you where at the game you can not honestly belive this was a fair game. It was not! and like I said before they play two more times this year and then we will see. NEUTRAL COURT

I had to sleep on this one before I could write anything. So where do I start how about THIS WAS THE WORST OFFICATED GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!! That goes both ways but in the third quarter it just was not fair!!! The fact that gallatin had double bonus and walton had two fouls with 5 minutes to go. You can not sit there and say the game was called evenlly because it simply was not. Walton did not loose to gallatin even if the score says so and who knows what would of happened in a fair game. Gallatin may have still won but not by what the score showed. Now on to the game it self one player on Gallatin impressed me number 15 the way he could get to the basket and play with his back to the basket also was impressive. On the other side of the ball Daugherty for Walton seemed to be unstoppable at times but then Walton would go away from him and start thowing up threes from all over the court. Walton seemed to break the press of Gallatin fairly easy and both teams seemed to be evenly matched until the third quarter in which In my opinion the game was taken out of there hands. One thing that did bother me was the attitudes of the Gallatin players namly 22 32 the both had big tempers and where lucky they did not get thrown out of the game. Walton had a kid that got a T for saying oh my god, but the two for Gallatin would walk up and down the court cussing and yelling but never got in trouble. That did not seem right to me. With all this said these teams will see each other again once at walton and once in Emmence. Home court and probly the most exciting nuetral court match up. Then we will see who is the better team.

The scoring does scare me a little but I also think Trimble and Grant are both having very big down years. But a hundred in a high school game is always impressive. I would look for something in the seventys saturday.

I belive last year Gallatin won by 2 or 3 at gallatin in over time and these are pretty much the same teams coming back but for some reason everybody from Gallatin thinks there team got alot better and Walton did not that makes no sense both teams are improved and this will be a good game. And I hope the gallatin players are thinking like the fans that way walton can sneak in and get the win.

It was a back and fourth game all night with Walton taking the lead for good with about five minutes left in the fourth. It was a slopy game with alot of fouls. Daugherty came alive in the fourth with thirteen in that quarter alone. It seemed when he got the ball inside they could not really stop him from scoring. 22 for Henry Co. played a good game he was one of the quickest guards I have seen but he did not look to score that much. All in all the game could have been better but it was a good win for Walton. This weekend should be a good game between Gallatin and Walton.

I was wondering how people think this one will turn out. Last year Henry won by one point and Daugherty for Walton had 26, should of had around 35 if he hit free throws. But I think Walton has alot of experince returning and should win this game in a close one.

Wrong!! Wade is tall and can block shots he has no offinsive impact on a game. Because he loves to block shots so much a couple pump fakes and the kid racks up the fouls quickly.

List looks pretty good but Eugene Wade does not belong on the list in the 8th, there is at least a two or three other players that can be there instead. Plus Edmondson last heard is ineligable so you can take him off as well.

I could not agree more

People complain that it would force a hurry up offense and force bad shots but that just is not true. If you take Princton in college the way they play is still slow and they find a good shot it all comes down to coaching. Bottem line in my opinion a shot clock would be a good thing.

Are girls team played in a tournment last year that used a shot clock and they all seemed to love it. They did say it took a little while to get use to but it did make the game more fun. I also can see the other side with the incomptence of some of the refs out there. I also noticed in some of the newer gyms they are starting to put shot clocks in even if they do not use them yet.

I was wondering what people thought about high school adding a shoot clocks. The reason I bring this up is that I was at a game last year where one team got a lead and then just passed the ball around the top of the key with the wheel play for about three minutes in the first quarter then even longer in the second. And don't think it got any better in the second half. And I just think that this type of basketball is embarrasing to the players who have to run the play. It shows no cofdence in your team to actually win the game. So what do you think?

I would have to say Rick Jones I played against him and if you did not pick him up at the vollyball lines he would just drill a three on you everytime.

Owen needed all the help they could get this year with losing two of the biggest players from the team last year. And it sounds like to me they may have got just what they were looking for.

I think it is a two horse race in the 8th between Walton and Gallatin.

I have heard a couple of stories such as he is going back to holmes, then other people say he is playing for Gallatin this year. I was wondering if somebody out there could shed some light on the situation.

getting excited can't wait for the season to start.

It will hurt there chances alot if Hester is not in the lineup. If he is out then Shelby jumps back to the faviorite imo.

I believe the faviorte in the 8th would have to be Simon Kenton this year.
