I was at HHS a week ago. I'm just guessing that it will be replaced as soon as next year. Just a guess, but its showing it age.

Finally made it to Knotty Pine last night. Just outstanding. Gumbo was great. Had a lobster bisque that was top notch. Entrees were solid. Abita on draft was good.

I have a copy of that issue. BBQ festival/competition coming to Sawyer point in the fall.

Well we wound up in Crescent Springs yesterday. Could have done Montgomery Inn, but decided against it. Saw a new sports bar called Elis that isn't open yet. Wound up at Montoyas. Pretty average. Luckily I looked at my bill. Charged me 10 bucks too much. They fixed it with no problem.

BBQ place in Newtown, can't remember the name. might check that out.

Want to hit a BBQ joint this weekend. Maybe Elis or Smoq. Anyone been to Walts BBQ on Colerain in Cincy?

Didn't see this earlier. Did you inquire about food that's not in the menu? They usually have a few speciallty dishes not listed.

Oh I didn't realize that was the meatball place. Looked at the menu and didn't even notice the meatballs.:lol2: So thats what they call the packed meats? i get it. Gonna try it this weekend. Hoping they have something good on tap.

Wow I got creamed for mentioning baking. Even though its by far the better way to go...

Okay, put it on a cedar plank on the grill. Hope you have the temp just right. Real easy to over cook fish on a grill. Put right on the grill and it could either stick or fall apart.

Changed up how we do ribs. Get a good rub on. on the grill high heat for 5 minutes. Take off grill. Sauce. Oven at 250 for about 3 hours. Back on the grill for about 10 minutes. Best we've done so far.

Go to Kroger. They will put a filet in a cooking bag with seasoning. butter and lemon slices. Depending on the filet bake approximately 18 minutes. Comes out perfect. It is by far the easieast way to cook fish. BTW they do not charge any thing for bag or seasonings. You just pay for the filet.
