Yes, chris has recovered and is working out and preparing for this upcoming season. By not playing football, it really gave his leg a chance to heal up. I see great things for the Beechwood Tigers this year.

Dont doubt Dixie. That is what everyone said about their football team this past year, and look what happened. Dont be so quick to judge teams before you actually see them in action. :thumb:

Elliott really has carried the SK pitching staff for the last couple of years IMO....

That's the main question. Will Swanson get into shape, if he does, then i expect good things from scott in the 10th region this year.

Troy McKinley from Simon Kenton..... Had one of the sweetest shots and really carried SK to the '81 state title.....

For SK don't forget A.J. Elliot, he was SK's number one pitcher last season.

WHOA!! Easy there sandman32, i wouldn't go that far. Dont get me wrong, but Dixie does have alot of talent returning next season, but as far as challenging for a state title, come on. Northern Kentucky isnt exactly the football powerhouse of the state. They still have to deal with the Lexington and Louisville teams. I would say that they will be a top contender in NKY, but no contention for the state title. :ylsuper:

That is a shame that travis smith is not playing college baseball. I had the opportunity to play 3 years of school ball with him and a year of summer ball, and i have not known a man with the work ethic that he had. He had the opportunity to get drafted, but his senior ended up being his downfall. He ended up walkin about 40-ish times, which is unheard of in high school baseball. And from what i hear, the EKU coach screwed him over when it came to the try-out. Best of luck to travis and i hope everything goes well

From what i hear, along with everyone else, Mutsch throws absolute smoke. I believe from what i hear that he would be the top pitcher in the 10th this year. He plays on the Kentucky Colonels summer team and he is monster. He's everybit of 6'5, he should be throwin gas.

I totally agree with xtrabasehit. On a broken leg, Curley dominated the entire season. He will be the best pitcher in the state by the end of the season. He might even end up getting drafted. And after hearing what happened to his sister, you have to wish him luck because he deserves it.

There will also be a couple of Northern Kentucky players there that will suprise a couple of people.

I believe that the Beechwood triplets will be the 3 best no doubt (Curley, Muth, and Sawyer). But outside of those three, its a toss up.
