Which KY high school football coaches would make good NFL head coaches?
Plus, to have the patience and financial stability to start as a college GA or assistant is tough.

Might be the biggest understatement of the season, so far!

Ok gotcha, I should have answered some of your questions anyway. If I remember correctly, played in game conditions, fourth quarter or middle of fourth quarter JV went in to play. I will search on here for a thread about the scrimmage.

Not sure why you would think it makes me feel better? I just answered your question.

IMO, for years and years, HHS has been a running football team that just beat up on their opponents. It just looks a little nicer when you do it from the shotgun instead of the Power I or I formation. Then when they did throw it, it was very efficient. But I think even when they had the big time D1 Qbs, they were a nasty team running the football.

There are NFL coaches that didn't play college and college coaches that didn't play college, also.

Cooper/Simon Kenton Predictions
Watching SK this year, in particular their Qb, I think he looked better as a freshman than he does as a junior. Who does he work with? Does he do off season work? I see a different throwing motion, now it looks more like a shotput. His drop backs are very erratic, changes what foot drops first(I know some will drop left foot first on quick game) on three step drops, throwing on the run he jumps to throw the ball instead of lifting his left knee and extending his leg. I really thought he would be big time and be a upper to high level recruit here in his junior season. I am not seeing any development in his game from the time he was an 8th grader playing freshman.

Most talented Ryle team?
I saw both and I think in the second half of 2010 Trinity called off the dogs big time. My conspiracy theory then and now was/is, they were trying to keep it from being a blow out because they were wanting to set up a regular season series. That is when T was starting to struggle to find in state opponents. Sometimes the tin foil on my head itches......

Most talented Ryle team?
No doubt! I will take that 2006 team all day. My memory isn't great but I will probably take player by player, position by position the 2006 team. Outside of Qb, but remember the 2006 offense was totally different, in a way.

So, year one walk on? From what I understand that is the norm. Usually it seems you walk on until the only scholly place kicker is gone, then if you are the best of the ones on the roster, you get a scholly. Did Popham stay after his first year?

I am not sure Ryle is better than Dixie upfront. Also, I do not think 131 yards rushing is over 150.

Maybe, but Ryle cannot match SK and Cooper upfront, not even close. Ryle could hardly run the ball on CCH, outside of a long run by McGregor.

And I am almost certain Popham was a walk-on at Wake Forest.

The only two teams in their way to a Final Four are SK and Cooper.

Been a Lasalle fan since Coltyn"Silky" Keairns moved from Hebron to the west side of Cincy. Would have loved to see him stay at Conner, started last year as a soph DL, now 6'2" 270 and built like a brick out house!!
