I would agree Voices...this game should be well matched with the speed at the skill spots...but I think that the game will come down to other than turnovers is who can control the line of scrimmage the best will advance to Bowling Green...for the most part Mayfield has been able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides for most of the year...as I assume so has Beechwood. What kind of special teams does Beechwood have...Mayfield has a very good place-kicker and punter who is accurate from 45 yards in...and IMHO has the most dangerous punt returner in the state in the Shelton kid. Should be a great game down here in Mayfield Friday night...and for those of you that have not heard...the game starts at 6pm Central time here in Mayfield. P.S...for the Beechwood fans Mayfield's stadium is not located at the High School...here is the address that is adjacent to the stadium that will get you to the game Friday night if you want to program into a GPS or google maps: 901 N 15th St, Mayfield, KY‎ 42066 Have a Happy Thanksgiving to all and lets hope for a great classic game between the Cards and the Tigers Friday night!!!

Congrats to Beechwood on continuing their excellence in Class A as you are not the two time defending champs and not be a great team. Congrats to Bellevue on a great season as well you just ran into a monster in the Tigers from Beechwood. Mayfield and Beechwood have played two classic games in the past and Friday night's game should be no different...as both teams have Offensive lines that can open up big holes for their respected backs and both teams have tremendous speed, and outstanding coaching staffs who will have their teams ready to play. Good luck to all the Beechwood fans and players making the trip to Mayfield Friday for the game Friday night...should be a classic battle with two of the most respected programs in the state!!!

Congrats to both teams last night...hats off to Crittenden County and their players who came in to War Memorial last night and showed the toughness that personifies the Crittenden County program year in and year out. J.D. Gray is one of the toughest young men in a football uniform and we all wish him the best of luck to that young man as he left it all out on the field last night. Best of luck to the Rocket Seniors in everything that you do...we have had some dogfights with you the past four years. Also hats off to the Mayfield Seniors who refused to lose last night and now survive and advance to take on Beechwood Friday night in what should be a heck of a game if we can limit out miscues that we had last night...hopefully last night it got out of our system and we can get back to playing mistake free football...as we will need it against Beechwood. Great comeback last night and we get to play one more game at War Memorial Friday night!!!
