There has been some minimal talk about putting down field turf at some point in death valley. Would make a multi-use practice and game facility for softball, football, soccer, baseball, etc...

:cry: I support all athletics at HHS, not just those who bring home the hardware.

Not to worry, the football field is too narrow for soccer anyway. Would only ever be used for a game in an extremely rare situation(even then, other options would be looked at first). The lines would be sprayed down with water based paint so they would not last long if that was necessary.

The biggest limitation is space constraints. Not that many available slots after all the in district kids are accounted for.

Maybe so, but I am still not convinced his record against HHS goes from well below .500 to well above .500 if that is the case.

So I guess Lynn Ray was not the "right coach"??? I do not think CCH could do much better than Coach Ray and he didn't come close to "dominating" Highlands.

I'll go with the team that won it on the field, I think both were shutouts in favor of the Birds. I think that ruling might still be on appeal somewhere.

CCH had that coach in Lynn Ray(Great coach)!!! Not sure you could have had a better promoter of CCH than he.

I agree, quite possibly one of the weakest years in half a century for the 9th region.

On the girls side, the northern point of the golden triangle will be as strong as ever. NDA, Highlands, NCC and Ryle will be the top dogs. The chasing pack (Holy Cross, Bishop Brossart, St. Henry, Simon Kenton, Boone County, Calvary Christian, and Campbell County) are getting better all the time.
