Hazard looked very good in pool play but lost the first game of the tournament. Manual and Christian Academy played in the championship of the tournament. Shelby County and Harrison County alsolooked very impressive

Nelson Cundiff is a great pickup for Mercer County and a terrible loss for the Nelson County girls basketball program. He is a great young coach who will come in and work the young men hard and make them very competitive.

Christian County won the state baseball tournament in 2004 and were runners up last year, so I think they may also have a bit of a "competetive edge"

Christian County will more than likely go with the Joiner kid that won like 25+ straight starts at one point
