Holy Cross has a good D and they have a mobil QB, if Carroll has a chance to win this game they will have to stop HC runnin backs.

I don't know any thing about these two teams and I don't want to take this thread off topic. I would like some info on DeSales. Is there any stats from this game how and who scored.

I would have to say Newport's pass D is just ok but good enough to hang with any thing Dayton can throw at them. Newport is a much better team now. Good Luck to both teams!

I would have to say better late than never, I think they are ready to play as a team and those seniors are ready to prove that they are winners!

I would say they have not, but they will be ready for Sherlock.

I would say you could lay blame on any of a lot of things. I think they could and should have got the #2 spot, they have a good group all around but it just didn't happen for them. Those seniors will have to prove them self in the playoffs.

I also like them in a 3 back set run some power football!! They have done that a few times this year and was able to move the ball. You have said they should go to a 5-3 for a while now maybe some one is listin, it seem to work out for the most part.

Newport still need to improve on the O line run blockin they still not open holes for Short to run, the best runnin play they had is with Collins runnin with Short lead blockin for him, nothin wrong with Collins runnin with the ball he is gettin better. I think Short need to carry the ball more they try to bring Oden in but he just can't get it done. I like what Newport did change it up on D all and all Newport played a good game. I see Newport close up and they are doin the right things and gettin it together at the right time of year, Newport coaching staff and players want to win they are a team everyone together. I look for Newport to get a little better next week.

Sounds like a broken record for Newport, they need to stop the run, turnovers killed them, big penalties. Newport still showin that they have inproved with every game they play.
