And that is not even everyone!!! If any of your daughter's want to play volleyball in college, I would be the first to tell you that there is probably a place to play for almost EVERYONE!!!

Could not agree more....I only gave a top 4 players... Allison McElveen is a PLAYER! I think she is only going to be a JR?? She is going to be a stud! CCHS came a long way with Tony last year. Those two teams plus Highlands makes for a great district and Regional tourney. I think Region 9 might be happy they are out of their region!! Can anyone come up with a top 10-15 list in NKY. I'll try.....

She could do either, for sure D1 in softball from what I've heard...probably not D1 in v-ball though....DII for sure.

NCC is going to be great for the next 3-4 years at least!! Kaela Freppon and Alyx Schulte are incredible and Annie is 6'2'' and catching up to her body. Watch out!!! They are all playing club ball for the Bullets and getting better all the time!

Oh BZ , don't get all in a fuss. You gotta calm down dude! First of all, I hope that wasn't a threat??? Secondly, I NEVER said anything about "cracking a lineup"?? Those girls could DEFINITELY play at many schools and do well. I said they were good, what don't you understand. I was praising your girls....duh! The TOPIC is standouts in NKY....I guess I just read into that differently than you....I was thinking more on the lines of a top 10 players in NKY. Thirdly, where in my post was I talking about rules fitting MY needs? The system is WAY WRONG,for sure, but some districts gotta live with it...:thumb: I said nothing about rules fitting my needs? And to add to your statement, I ALSO thought it was great to see Ludlow in the Regionals and the smiles on all the girls faces. It is a super thing to be able to say they accomplished! Deep breaths BZ....Deep Breaths!!

And he should have faith in them ....they are becoming a solid unit more and more each year. I have said many times that Ms. Schmidt has done wonders in Ludlow...she has kept them alive and definitley moving forward! The girls love her and you can tell she loves the girls. That is what it is all about!!! ...and yes they have gained TONS of confidence under Jodi, which is half the battle when establishing a solid program. The Panthers get better and better every year, I think a few of the girls are playing club ball now also!! BigZig and I will be fine...he is superb "button pusher"!

Good!!! I overheard a silly rumor that she was not? I am glad she is staying...she has built a good program over the years. She may have the longest tenure of a volleyball coach at Ryle. BTW, what schools are still looking for coaches?? NDA and Holy Cross found coaches.... what about Bishop Brossart, Boone County?

Hey Zig, Good players, FOR SURE! They have worked very hard to get better year in and year out! Standouts in N. Ky.... questionable. Standouts for their team, without a question the best. Maybe the best Ludlow has had in a while. I hope the best for Ludlow's troops , but IMVHO another trip to Regionals for Ludlow would only be by the LUCK of the infamous blind draw! An assumption...I just think it would be hard for him to stay...He did have his hat in the ring and obviously didn't get the job. Maybe Beechwood was thinking long-term and thought Bob would retire....and I don't think Bob ever thought of retirement. He would be there until he died if they let him...in that respect, I think he felt slighted and may be leaning towards leaving for a new job. Like Big Zig said...maybe somewhere in Ohio. Shouldn't assume though, should we Sportsfan...i know what assuming does! I know personally, I do not want to see him go, hopefully he will at least stay as the Asst. Principal and AD and asst. coach for that matter!! I think either choice would have been good for Beechwood. Coach Rash will do great and will lead the team back to State again!! Go Tigers!!!

Great question BZ...I wonder who will take Coach Burnett's AD job? I agree that he probably won't stick around. He does sooo much for the school beyond AD and Coach, he is also the Asst. Principal. He is a loyal guy with a heart the size of Texas. He probably feels pretty slighted...I would. Heck the man's house is basically on school property! He will re-surface...he is not the retiring kind-of-guy IMO. That being said...Coach Rash is awesome person and a great candidate for the job! Coach Rash will do great things with the team. Congrats Coach Rash!

I think Ludlow is going to have an even better record next year than they did this year...that is alot of people returning!

There is something very different about the schedule that Ludlow plays compared to the schedule of the other teams listed.(NDA, St. Henry, Campbell Co., NCC, Beechwood, Conner, etc.) Granted, the coach has brought them a long way, but come on... How many top 10 Northern Ky. teams does Ludlow schedule throughout the year? Maybe one! The rest of the teams listed are playing Top 10 teams at least once a week! Oh, and who did Ludlow beat to go to regionals???? Cov. Latin ....end of discussion!

Ludlow must play Beechwood, they are in the same conference. I do not think they schedule any of the other schools.

There are a handful in Louisville and some in Ohio.

Assumption will stay #1. I think they will stay incredible! I think NDA may have the upper hand on St. Henry next year...IMO. Watch out for NCC too. They are going to be good for a few years coming! I personnally can't wait to see some of these club teams play this season. This is when the girls really get better and blossom. They also start figuring out if college volleyball is for them. Should be some exciting volleyball this spring/summer.
