The Century Club released its list of the top 100 teams in the country. Kentucky and Ohio did very well. Assumption #1, Roger Bacon #3, Seton #30, Mt. Notre Dame (Cincinnati) #36, St. Henry #40, Sacred Heart #41, Mercy Louisville #42, and Newark Catholic #98. Great showing from the midwest. Congratulations to all the teams.

I am on Prepvolleyball also. It just threw me when you said Century Club.

 

How do you think the schools will fare next year? Assumption still be #1? How about St. Henry, Mercy, and Sacred Heart? How many seniors have they lost?

Assumption will stay #1. I think they will stay incredible!

I think NDA may have the upper hand on St. Henry next year...IMO.

Watch out for NCC too. They are going to be good for a few years coming!

 

I personnally can't wait to see some of these club teams play this season.

This is when the girls really get better and blossom. They also start figuring out if college volleyball is for them. Should be some exciting volleyball this spring/summer.

I think Beechwood will definately be in there.............well, maybe I am reaching a little bit.......but you never know! A Tiger can dream!

The Camels will be watching out for them...we return 6 starters from the Regional championship team... :thumb:

I have a cousin who played on the Assumption team who went undefeated and won the state championship and national championship. I got to see them play once and they were amazing. Congratulations.

NDA will be good this year. I heard that Kim Gunning is coaching a club team and also will coach at NDA next year. Anyone know if that is true or not?

 

Kim and Bob are both good coaches and they have some good athletes this year so they will be one of the top teams next year.

The Rockets will return to dominate in 2006. In NKY, NDA will step it up a bit from the last two seasons. Many of the strong teams of 2005 will not be losing much, so they should all compete behind NDA and St. Henry with Ryle, Beechwood, Conner, CCHS, Highlands, NCC all matching up pretty nicely.
