Not aware of any in KY. There are many teams in Ohio since it is a sponsored sport by the OHSAA. Some of the schools in NKY do boys intramurals in the spring. There is talent there and I wish it were a sport in KY.

There are a handful in Louisville and some in Ohio.

The Rockets will return to dominate in 2006. In NKY, NDA will step it up a bit from the last two seasons. Many of the strong teams of 2005 will not be losing much, so they should all compete behind NDA and St. Henry with Ryle, Beechwood, Conner, CCHS, Highlands, NCC all matching up pretty nicely.

Don't go leaving Ludlow out of the mix as they return 5 of 6 starters from last years regional team. Something that at least one of the teams on your list can't claim. :ylsuper:

Ludlow must play Beechwood, they are in the same conference.

I do not think they schedule any of the other schools.

There is something very different about the schedule that Ludlow plays compared to the schedule of the other teams listed.(NDA, St. Henry, Campbell Co., NCC, Beechwood, Conner, etc.)

Granted, the coach has brought them a long way, but come on...

How many top 10 Northern Ky. teams does Ludlow schedule throughout the year? Maybe one! The rest of the teams listed are playing Top 10 teams at least once a week!

Oh, and who did Ludlow beat to go to regionals???? Cov. Latin ....end of discussion!

Zig is just trying to get someone's goat. Not only do the above mentioned teams play top ten NKY teams, they play the state's top ten teams regularly. Well heck, some of those mentioned are state top ten teams on a consistent basis.

 

They did play Beechwood last year but lost 25-17, 25-16. I applaud what Jodi has done there, but I would not consider them contenders next season.

this year...that is alot of people returning!

Oh and also I believe if you look at the district finals Ludlow played NDA just a little tougher then the Beechies did in their 1st round match.

Sarah Wright as far as I know started thru out the year and had a very good year. I was a little confused by the whole Libero thing this year. She is a shining example of how far the Ludlow program has come under Coach Schmidt. Sarah is also an excellent Student and cheerleader. She will tumble for you if you ask.
