cvb Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Who looks to be the stand out players from NKY volleyball this year? The top player will be Stephanie Niemer from St.Henry.
ZX3 Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Lauren Snyder--Most well rounded player in the area hands down Stephanie Neimer--unstoppable Middle hitter, UC bound Liza Toebbe--Incredible setter Kaela Freppon--Soph. setter, will be area's best next year if not this year that is just a few of many great volleyball stars in N. KY.
BIGZIG Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Kassi Wofford is an outstanding Libero for Ludlow and Michelle Papas and Erin Beard were both recognized at last years conference awards dinner. Ludlow will have another good year and a return trip to the regional is expected for Coach Schmidts troops.
cvb Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Kirsten Allen from Ryle will be a top player in NKY next year too. She is very strong at the net and can play any position. She is very talented.

They have worked very hard to get better year in and year out! Standouts in N. Ky.... questionable. Standouts for their team, without a question the best. Maybe the best Ludlow has had in a while. I hope the best for Ludlow's troops , but IMVHO another trip to Regionals for Ludlow would only be by the LUCK of the infamous blind draw! [/quote} A return trip to the regional is expected for Coach Schmidts troops. Bold statement to make before a blind draw has even been made???? Good day Zig!

cvb Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Yes, Coach Tanner is returning. Why should she not? She has built a very strong program and had much success.

I overheard a silly rumor that she was not? I am glad she is staying...she has built a good program over the years. She may have the longest tenure of a volleyball coach at Ryle. BTW, what schools are still looking for coaches?? NDA and Holy Cross found coaches.... what about Bishop Brossart, Boone County?
cshs81 Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 BTW, what schools are still looking for coaches?? NDA and Holy Cross found coaches.... what about Bishop Brossart, Boone County? Does NDAs new coach win the award for "longest commute"?
ZX3 Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Does NDAs new coach win the award for "longest commute"?  FOR SURE! Dayton I believe!
EQUUS GREVYI Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 NDA coach, Yoon Ha, was previous Head coach for Dayton Carroll as well as Dayton Juniors Club coach. Seems to be a good choice by NDA.

Does she project out to be able to play in college? What level? Obviously, she's D1 in softball. I'm just curious as to what her options might be.
