Secondly, I NEVER said anything about "cracking a lineup"?? Those girls could DEFINITELY play at many schools and do well. I said they were good, what don't you understand. I was praising your girls....duh!

The TOPIC is standouts in NKY....I guess I just read into that differently than you....I was thinking more on the lines of a top 10 players in NKY.

Thirdly, where in my post was I talking about rules fitting MY needs?

The system is WAY WRONG,for sure, but some districts gotta live with it...:thumb: I said nothing about rules fitting my needs?

 

And to add to your statement, I ALSO thought it was great to see Ludlow in the Regionals and the smiles on all the girls faces. It is a super thing to be able to say they accomplished!

Michelle Papas is a standout and should and will be in everyones Top 15 as IMO will be Kassi Wofford by years end.

As for how You read into the topic differently then I well I consider that a blessing. The day you and I read something the same way then I will step back and seriously re-evaluate my life.

Just an example of the great job that Jodi Schmidt is doing at Ludlow and the effect she is having on the program, she recently had a meeting for Middle School (6th thru 8th grade) girls interested in playing Volleyball and 57 girls came to the meeting. Quite an impressive turnout for a school the size of Ludlow and a testament to the type of program Coach Schmidt is building in Ludlow.

That sounds great! Did Ludlow previously have a middle school program? If not, can she create one without upsetting your title IX balance?

 

I wish we could start volleyball as early as 4th grade. Catholic schools do that and it certainly shows down the road! A definate advantage over the public schools.

She has had a program the past several years for 7th and 8th graders and this year was able to include 6th graders. She has hopes of entering 2 teams into a middle school league probably over at Highlands where they have played in the past. I agree about the 4th grade as well. The parochials get them started that early and so should we.
