Ludlow will have another good year and a return trip to the regional is expected for Coach Schmidts troops.

I think Zig just has faith in his girls, and it is a sign of the state of Volleyball in Ludlow. These girls expect to win whenever they step on the court, a big change from some of the teams of the past.

And he should have faith in them ....they are becoming a solid unit more and more each year.

I have said many times that Ms. Schmidt has done wonders in Ludlow...she has kept them alive and definitley moving forward! The girls love her and you can tell she loves the girls. That is what it is all about!!!

...and yes they have gained TONS of confidence under Jodi, which is half the battle when establishing a solid program.

The Panthers get better and better every year, I think a few of the girls are playing club ball now also!!

Someday I'm going to push more then your button ZX3. Michelle Papas and Kassi Wofford could both crack your lineup and you know it. Still trying to make the rules fit your needs I see. Keep on slamming how the Panthers got to the Regionals. The best part of the Regionals was seeing the Panthers in it and the 2nd best part was knowing you were sitting in the stands whining and crying with some trainer about the great injustice that was done to your team.

What have we got 5 months until the season begins and I'm already in midseason form. Look forward to many, many more pleasant exchanges with you as the season draws near..:thumb:

Papas plays for my daughter's JO team and she is a fine player . I watched the team play in the NKJV tournament this past weekend . My daughter is also an assistant at NCC during the season . Goodness a private school coach helping a public school player improve and from a rival school at that . What is the world coming to !!

Secondly, I NEVER said anything about "cracking a lineup"?? Those girls could DEFINITELY play at many schools and do well. I said they were good, what don't you understand. I was praising your girls....duh!

The TOPIC is standouts in NKY....I guess I just read into that differently than you....I was thinking more on the lines of a top 10 players in NKY.

And to add to your statement, I ALSO thought it was great to see Ludlow in the Regionals and the smiles on all the girls faces. It is a super thing to be able to say they accomplished!

Kaela Freppon and Alyx Schulte are incredible and Annie is 6'2'' and catching up to her body. Watch out!!!

Obviously, she's D1 in softball. I'm just curious as to what her options might be.

 

She could do either, for sure D1 in softball from what I've heard...probably not D1 in v-ball though....DII for sure.

You guys forget about Allison McElveen for CCHS. She is a great hitter and good all around player. Let's not forget that CCHS will give NCC a run for their money again this teay with 5 of 6 starters com ing back.

Could not agree more....I only gave a top 4 players... Allison McElveen is a PLAYER! I think she is only going to be a JR?? She is going to be a stud! CCHS came a long way with Tony last year. Those two teams plus Highlands makes for a great district and Regional tourney.

I think Region 9 might be happy they are out of their region!!
